After the success of the Euro Truck Simulator, gamers have been calling for the experience of right-hand-drive trucks and to bring the driving experience home to the UK. Excalibur Publishing Ltd is releasing UK Truck Simulator this February which is packed with well-loved UK routes, motorways and scenery.
With Euro Truck Simulator being focused around routes on mainland Europe and Euro Truck Gold merely giving a taster of UK motorways, it was only a question of time before Excalibur Publishing and SCS Software introduced a UK dedicated Truck Simulator to the market.
Discover the routes through cities such as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburg and Newcastle to name only a few. Truck Sim enthusiasts will understand the objective of this Sim from the previous versions: You will gain experience working as a UK haulage contractor making sure your deliveries are on time, making sure your truck isn’t damaged and keeping an eye on fuel consumption, with the aim being to build up your own business.
Robert Stallibrass of Excalibur Publishing says: “Having released Euro Truck Gold, it was clear that there was enormous interest in UK motorways and scenery. SCS have spent 2 years developing UK Truck Simulator and have created an outstanding product . Feedback from dedicated forums and Facebook groups shows we are onto a winner.”
The product will retail at £29.99, is available on pre-order now at www.excalibur-publishing.com and will officially hit the shelves in all major game retailers on 19 February 2010.
