PlayStation 3 owners don't have much to play with, but thankfully there's also four demos to download. Pick of the bunch is FIFA 10, with EA giving football fans a chance to play the game ahead of its October 2 release date. LittleBigPlanet is being released as a Game of the Year edition soon, so if you haven't picked it up yet the new demo might tempt you. There are also demos for the mildly disappointing Fat Princess and crazy roll 'em up Katamari Forever.
Music game fans can download new tracks for Guitar Hero 5, including a few tracks from The Rolling Stones, while Rock Band players can get hold of some Audioslave and The Jackson 5. With the release of the new XMB PS3 owners can also make use of dynamic themes. The theme for WipEout HD is free, while themes for MotorStorm and LittleBigPlanet each cost £1.59. The streaming music service, VidZone, has also been updated with new tracks and playlists.

360 owners don't have a great deal of free content this week, but there is some pretty good premium DLC and games to get stuck into. Xbox LIVE Arcade receives Mega Drive classic Sonic & Knuckles at a reasonable 400 MS Points, while the Games on Demand service now has 2K Games' mega hit BioShock. There's only a single demo to get your hands on, but at least it's for FIFA 10, one of the most anticipated games of 2009.
On the DLC front there's a new course for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, fighters for UFC Undisputed 2009 and loads of new tracks for Rock Band, Guitar Hero World Tour and The Beatles: Rock Band. All You Need is Love is a timed exclusive for The Beatles: Rock Band on Xbox 360.

It's a bumper week of new content for Wii owners, although the quality is questionable. Virtual Console releases Solomon’s Key and RYGAR are the arcade versions and not the NES versions that are probably more familiar to gamers. Neither has aged particularly well, although if you must have one we reckon RYGAR is the better choice. Spaceball: Revolution is essentially a 3D Breakout clone, with you needing to get balls to the end of a corridor in order to break bricks. It's not bad for 800 points, but it's not really anything original. There's also some DLC for Wii owners this week, with a new chapter for Final Fantasy IV: The After Years and My Life as a Darklord.
WiiWare
Spaceball: Revolution: 800 Wii Points
Virtual Console Arcade
Solomon’s Key: 500 Wii Points
RYGAR: 600 Wii Points
Add-Ons
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years Chapter 9 – The Crystals: 800 Wii Points
FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: My Life as a Darklord Items: 200-500 Wii Points
And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...
PS3
None of the consoles have any content to get too excited about this week, but with four demos the PS3 takes the win. The Xbox 360 takes second place with some decent DLC, and the Wii lands in third due to a lack of quality.
