Hudson Entertainment invites gamers to explore a world filled with mystic beauty and interaction in Rooms: The Main Building. Published by Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American publishing arm of HUDSON SOFT, Rooms: The Main Building will take Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS players on an epic journey in 2010.

In the game, an invitation arrives at the character’s doorstep and unknowingly diverts them to an alternate world where players use extraordinary items and devices to navigate through a variety of rooms and buildings. To enter the next room, players must carefully shift rooms around in a manner similar to slide puzzles.

“With the diverse gameplay offered in this unique title, Rooms: The Main Building is the start of another new category for Hudson,” said Mike Pepe, director of marketing of Hudson Entertainment. “As a new type of game, Rooms: The Main Building will transport players of all ages to a beautifully designed world filled with adventure and mystery.”

Designed for Nintendo: Point and Click Controls, Rooms: The Main Building features ideal gameplay for the Wii Remote and the Nintendo DS stylus. In each room, players must use intellect, strategy and various objects to their full advantage. To escape, rooms can be moved around and matched up with subsequent rooms. The game features a guide named Mr. Book that gives tips on how to move rooms and use various tricks during the adventure. Players are also rewarded with a bonus if the background is placed correctly like in a jigsaw puzzle. With more than 100 rooms to go through and a level editor to create more, this charmed adventure can continue for ages to come.
