To ensure your Nintendo Wiimotes are always fully charged, just place them on the charger - the charging station produces an induction field so you don't need to connect them using a cable. The charging process starts as soon as you place the Nintendo Wiimote on the Contact-Free Charger - and charging also works even if the Nintendo Wii console is switched off.
The Contact-Free Charger offers you the opportunity to charge up to two Nintendo Wiimotes or battery packs at the same time. Silicone skins or Nintendo Nunchuks can stay attached, and even the Nintendo MotionPlus accessory doesn't need to be removed during charging.
To use the Contact-Free Charger, all you need to do is replace the standard batteries in the Nintendo Wiimotes with the supplied battery packs. During the charging process, the Contact-Free Charger's integrated LED will light up red, turning blue as soon as the Nintendo Wiimotes are fully charged.
The Contact-Free Charger connects between the AC adapter and the Nintendo Wii console using the supplied cable allowing the Nintendo Wiimotes to be charged even when the Nintendo Wii console is off.
It takes up to four hours to fully charge a flat battery pack - which isn't any longer than a normal charger. After six hours, the power supply is automatically cut-off to prevent overcharging. Each battery pack provides up to 20 hours of gaming time - which means you have 2x20 hours in total.
