Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge, meet your mercenaries in this video game
Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge, the real time strategy game by GFI and Morphicon, is set to be released on 29th May. Lead a group of highly trained and ruthless mercenaries in overthrowing the brutal dictator of The Diamond Shores in deepest, darkest Africa. Assemble your hired guns from a selection of available mercenaries. They may not be the men you would choose as friends, but they are without a doubt, the men you would want covering your back in a jungle firefight.
Ernest Rogers.
Ernest Roger’s two great passions are weapons and hunting lions. He’s a man who can strip and clean a rifle and throttle a leopard by hand in about the same time! If the latter is stupid enough to come close enough to Ernest! Ernest Roger’s current location is unknown.
Jack.
Jack worked as the commanding officer of an anti-terrorist detachment in the SAS, until he found himself court marshaled after failing a single hostage rescue mission. As a result of the failed mission many hostages were killed, however, all the terrorists were also neutralized some of them in very barbaric ways. Because of his previous service he wasn't punished, but he was honorably discharged from the SAS. He is a specialist in the following: assault operations, battles in enclosed spaces and close quarters combat.
Rasta.
Rasta learns quickly and is trained in military science. He specializes in fire-arms although he is not an excellent rifleman himself. He is very strong, enduring and excellent in close combat.
Billy Bob.
Billy is widower and that’s the reason he has returned to his old profession. A quiet bartender from Lancaster, he is always polite and treats people well. He has an excellent memory and knows the names of all his regulars in the pub he runs. Billy Bob is a great leader, quick and laconic. Inexperienced mercenaries can learn much from him.
Sebastian
All we know about Sebastian is that he is an ex-field agent from the CIA. As he says "I just got tired with espionage games, politics, narcobusiness, weapon sales and easy work". He is good with explosives, electronics, in close combat and with automatic arms. He is also a skilled mechanic and can render first aid.
Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge will be available on 29th May 2009 at a RRP of £24.99.
