Gamers of a green-fingered persuasion will be able to sample the latest in the Mama series early when the Gardening Mama demo goes live on Nintendo’s Wii channel.
Available from 24th April, the demo will be available to download and transfer to DS via Wi-Fi connection.
The demo gives players a sample plant to grow and demonstrates ten stages of game play, which include sorting the bulbs, tilling the soil, applying serum and spraying for pesky creepy crawlies.
As has become the series trademark, all stages are conducted under the watchful eye of Mama, who will save the day should your gardening skills abandon you at the crucial moment.
Gardening Mama hails from the same developer as the famed Cooking Mama series of games, the original of which has gone on to ship well over 1.5 million copies and counting. The accessible and colourful nature of this quintessentially Japanese series has made the eponymous ‘Mama’ an instantly recognisable favorite amongst casual gamers and Japanophiles alike.
The full version of Gardening Mama will be available from 1st May exclusively for Nintendo DS.
