Ultimate Fighting Championship Videogame Allows Consumers to Enter the Virtual Octagon with Game Sample Prior to Worldwide Debut in May
THQ and Zuffa, LLC today announced the UFC 2009 Undisputed playable demo is now available for free download via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as PlayStation Network for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system.
In celebration of UFC 97, held last weekend in Montreal, Quebec, the playable demo will allow consumers to sample an exhibition bout with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. The demo will also include a portion of the game’s Tutorial Mode, which further educates players about UFC 2009 Undisputed’s unique gameplay controls, as well as the sport of mixed martial arts. UFC 2009 Undisputed is scheduled for release on May 19, 2009 for Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 system.
