31st Aug 2007 (London, United Kingdom) – Earlier this month XLEAGUE.TV, the UK’s first dedicated eSports service, announced a free Mario Strikers: Charged Football and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 tournament. XLEAGUE.TV can now announce that the next free tournament will be Gears of War, where players can compete for a top prize of £250.
“We’ve had a terrific response to our previous free tournaments sponsored by The Daily Star,” says Lee Catania, XLEAGUE.TV Marketing Manager. “We’re sure Gears of War, one of the most popular games on the Xbox 360, will prove just as successful.”
Registration for the tournament opens on the 31st of August, and is absolutely free. The remaining two free tournaments will be unveiled over the following weeks.
