Focus Home Interactive unveils its Gamescom 2018 lineup

Between hands-on gameplay, closed-door demos and exclusive interviews, there’s lots to look forward to for press and players alike. To prepare for the big week of Gamescom, here’s the full list of what will be showcased August 21st to August 25th.

At the Focus Home Interactive Business Booth (Hall 4.1, Booth C-029G), journalists will have the opportunity to explore some of the most hotly-anticipated games through exclusive presentations, interviews and hands-on sessions:

• Call of Cthulhu (Cyanide Studio): With the release planned for the end of October, journalists will be free to investigate on Darkwater Island for the first time with 90 minutes of hands-on gameplay.
• Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 (Tindalos Interactive): Journalists can enjoy hands-on gameplay with Tindalos’ epic take on glorious, large-scale space battles set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
• The Surge 2 (Deck13): Deck 13 will unveil more gameplay with a 20-minute developer walkthrough showcasing the sequel’s tightened mechanics, expanded environments and brutal combat.
• Space Hulk: Tactics (Cyanide Studio): The board game adaption set in Warhammer 40,000 universe will be playable for journalists eager to engage in bloody, tactical battles in gigantic Space Hulk!
• Fear The Wolves (Vostok Games): Exclusive developer interviews on what’s planned for this intense Battle Royale FPS title, created by S.T.A.L.K.E.R. veterans.

Bus Simulator 18 coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Upcoming Bus Simulator for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The port of the successful Bus Simulator 18, which has been released on PC in June 2018, will bring the first bus simulation game to the current console generation!

Just like the PC version, Bus Simulator for Xbox One und PlayStation 4 will offer players the unique opportunity to create their own bus company in the fictional European city of Seaside Valley and establish a veritable bus empire with official licensed buses by well-known brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Setra, MAN and IVECO BUS.

You are Harry, a brash and tenacious exterminator who has a knack for decimating bugs.

MU Online Season 13: Part 1 - August 21st release

MU Online is a full-3D MMORPG and one of the leading online games developed in Korea. After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, August 21st, the Season 13: Part 1 content update will bring a host of new features into the game, including a new map ‘Swamp of Darkness’, 4th Wings, new Mastery weapons and armours, and Skill Enhance Tree System Improvement along with an increased level cap up to level 920.

Six games for the PAX Aus 2018 Indie Showcase Spin Rhythm, Infliction, Double Shot, Dissembler, Major League TeleBlast & Mars Underground

The games exemplify the creativity found within the indie development community across Australia and New Zealand and will be prominently featured at the show. PAX Aus 2018 will take place 26-28 Oct. 2018 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Chosen from a huge assortment of submissions by a panel of industry veterans, the six games join the ranks of previous Showcase winners such as Hollow Knight, Hacknet and Objects in Space. The 2018 PAX Aus Indie Showcase will be featured on the exhibition floor as part of PAX Rising, an area dedicated to indie games. The Indie Showcase is a snapshot of the best of the local industry, oozing innovation, style, and technical mastery.
