World of Tanks Debuts 30-vs-30 Battles - new vehicles, and balance Update 9.20

Bigger battles and more tanks. Two things players have been wanting for a while, and Grand Battles delivers both: 30–vs-30 on a huge new map, Nebelburg, measuring 1.4 km by 1.4 km. This exciting new mode is the domain of Tier X tanks only, which means the spoils of war that come with the territory increases. It's also where players can earn Bonds, a new in-game currency that can be spent on Directives or Improved Equipment to supercharge their experience.

“Bringing World of Tanks battles to a whole new level is a really exciting step for us,” said Max Chuvalov, World of Tanks Marketing Director. “We received some invaluable player feedback during our tests and are now ready to share the new mode with the community. We’re positive Grand Battles will offer an absolutely fresh experience for our players.”

War Thunder New Era Announced adds Rank 6

War Thunder will soon add a sixth rank for Ground Forces via the upcoming New Era Update. The new rank will feature armoured vehicles from the 1960’s through the 1970’s and introduce new ground combat technologies, such as composite and reactive armour.

New mechanics added to War Thunder will significantly expand gameplay in top-rank battles, offering exciting challenges and skills to master to players. Stabilized cannons, one of the common features of Rank VI vehicles, allow players to shoot effectively on the move, while smokescreen launchers increase survivability after detection and open up new tactical opportunities.

Nintendo to close Miiverse this November and charge for online servive

Nintendo's Social Network messaging board Miiverse, available on most Wii U and 3Ds games, will be closed as of November 8 due to misuse as many users are posting rude messages.

Speaking about the highs and lows of Miiverse, which was launched in 2012, Tom Phillips of Eurogamer told the BBC: "It was chaotic but a moderately successful experiment in creating a social network.

"The highlight was some of the incredible art - it was certainly the best of what Miiverse had to offer - but it was always a headache for Nintendo to police.

"Some of the moderation was entrusted to an algorithm you could draw a penis shape and it would be deleted."

Resident Evil Revelations released on PS4 and Xone today

The acclaimed survival horror game Resident Evil Revelations debuts on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One across Europe digitally and at retail today. Known for its narrative twists and turns, the story unravels like a television show, told in an episodic format as more of the mysterious plot is revealed from the perspective of several different playable characters.
