PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Invitational Tournament July 1 compete for $1,000

The most talented squads in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will go head-to-head early next month in the Stream.Me PUBG Invitational tournament.

Beginning Saturday, July 1 at 2pm ET, the event hosts the top 36 teams from PUBGOnline.com's Showdown Qualifiers, clashing in a double elimination bracket with $1,000 in prizes on the line.

Nintendo Switch tops 1 million sales in Japan since March 3rd

Total sales of Switch hardware in Japan have surpassed one million as of June 25 with a total of 1,016,473 units sold since its March 3 launch.

The platform’s top five selling games in Japan, as of June 25 are as follows:

1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (04/28/17, Nintendo) – 501,614 units sold
2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Nintendo, 03/03/17) – 460,480 units sold
3. 1-2-Switch (Nintendo, 03/03/17) – 200,807 units sold
4. Arms (Nintendo, 06/16/17) – 154,845 units sold
5. Super Bomberman R (Konami, 03/03/17) – 92,112 units sold

Osiris: New Dawn New characters, New Classes, New skill trees in Sci-Fi Survival adventure game

A significant new update, dubbed 'Character Class", is now available for their sci-fi adventure/survival game Osiris: New Dawn. Available on Steam, the free update offers players two new character classes - the combat-ready Marine and The Engineer, a highly skilled survivalist. The update also adds a first-person view mode to the GAV all-terrain vehicle and the spaceship, along with an RPG-like skill tree that lets players more directly define their character within the new classes.

Final Fantasy XV episode Prompto DLC action packed - PS4

Closed beta of Escape from Tarkov begins in July

Escape from Tarkov, the realism-focused hardcore FPS/MMO hybrid, will be entering its official Closed Beta phase (CBT) in July.

The Closed Beta, which will be available to all current and new pre-order owners, introduces new features, content and optimizations - a new map, weapon parts, new loot, economy rebalancing, and an insurance system. Also new to the game will be the Peacemaker, a new merchant who will expand opportunities for players to buy western weapons and gear.
