Nintendo wins patent battle Court - Overturns Verdict of East Texas Jury

The Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled that none of Nintendo's video game controllers infringe on a patent asserted by Anascape. Nintendo had been accused by Anascape of infringing on U.S. Patent No. 6,906,700. The case was tried before a jury in the Eastern District of Texas in May 2008. The jury found that neither the motion-sensing Wii Remote controller, nor the Nunchuk controller, infringes on the patent.

Comic Book artist joins - The Heavy - video game team of the movie

Frazer Nash Communications has obtained the exclusive worldwide rights to develop and publish interactive entertainment games based on the Parkland Pictures film "The Heavy”. Frazer Nash Communications having signed up Team6 Game Studios from Netherlands to develop the game, today announced that London-based artist, Nubian Greene, who will create the comic book storytelling for the in-game story. The Heavy is a British-made film directed and created by Marcus Warren - a new British talent in the world of cinema.
