Third person shooter, WET video game to sponsor The Gypsy Pistoleros UK tour

The Gypsy Pistoleros today announced that Bethesda Softworks’ recently-released third person shooter, WET, will be the sole sponsor of their 2009 October U.K Tour. Four tracks from the band’s forthcoming album, Hotel de la Muerte, are featured in WET, a highly stylized game developed by Artificial Mind & Movement for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system.

First downloads for IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey

First round of downloadable content for their critically acclaimed air combat shooter IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey for Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE service and Sony’s PlayStation Network. The package adds six new single player missions to the campaign mode across the existing six theatres of war featured in the game. A new plane, the American P47D, previously only available to pre-order customers, is also included.

The pack is set at 800 MS points for the Xbox 360 and £7.99/ €9.99 for the PlayStation Network.

Since its 4th September release IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey has earned some impressive reviews from UK press including a pair of 9/10 scores from both Official Xbox 360 Magazine and Official PlayStation Magazine. Other highlights include 8/10's from EDGE and Gamesmaster as well as 88% from Inc Gamers and a 9/10 from Xbox World 360.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and PSP.
