Created specifically for 6-11 year olds, Junior Brain Trainer gives young minds a fitness workout to help develop important key skills in reading, writing, spelling, maths, geometry, logic and problem solving. Junior Brain Trainer takes a fresh and fun approach to teaching by delivering information in bite size chunks, making it easier to digest. The structured gameplay is designed to suit a child’s attention span and ensures they are continually engaged.

Users are encouraged to spend a small amount of time on the game each day to complete five different activities based around key skills. Players must successfully accomplish tasks such as completing a missing word in a sentence, finishing a maths calculation, drawing a shape or matching up pairs.

Snakes - a game of skill and timing that requires a snake to be guided around the screen to collect coloured sweets – but if the snake hits its own tail, it’s game over!

Football – the stylus is used to move a football boot across the screen kicking a ball against the wall to remove bricks. Don’t miss the ball or a life is lost!

Beggar My Neighbour – tap on a pile of playing cards with the stylus to play a move against the console. Whoever has the highest card wins the hand - the overall winner is the player who collects all the cards.

Balloon Pop - the D-pad is used to move a sling shot to the left and right. The A button fires at the balloons and pops them when on target. Balloons may fire back though!

Twins - a memory game requiring pairs of people to be matched up against a time limit.

Ghosts - use the stylus to touch a ghost and capture it. The ghosts are quick though and as many as possible must be caught within the time limit.

Based on the critically acclaimed Dead Rising for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop follows the harrowing tale of Frank West, an overly zealous freelance journalist on a hunt for the scoop of a lifetime.

In pursuit of a juicy lead, he makes his way to the small suburban town of Willamette only to find that it has become overrun by zombies. Frank escapes to the local shopping mall where he thinks he will find safety only to discover its crawling with the un-dead.

In order to survive players will have full reign of a realistic shopping centre where an endless supply of real and makeshift weapons will be at their disposal to fight off the flesh-hungry mob. Utilising the Wii remote, this new iteration to the series will take zombie-bashing to a new level as you shake, swing and aim your weapons in an effort to take the enemies down.

The game is split into a series of individual cases, all of which Frank must complete in order to gain vital information that allows him to piece together the truth behind the horrendous epidemic.

Players will be faced with the dilemma of deciding the rescue priority of the Willamette residents who have also sought sanctuary in the mall. Hotel for Dogs video game on Nintendo Wii, PC and Nintendo DS

Hotel for Dogs, the video game based on the upcoming feature film, “Hotel For Dogs” from DreamWorks Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies, will jump, sit and stay across Europe in 2009 (concurrently with the movie in each territory). Coming to the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Windows-based PC, Hotel for Dogs features the likenesses and voices of the movie’s two young stars, Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin. Rockstar to patch GTA IV after PC problems

Players are reporting that Grand Theft Auto IV on PC has some major reliability problems - but Rockstar is on the way to the rescue.

"We are aware that a small number of fans are having problems running GTA IV on their PCs and we would like to assure them we are working to help solve these as quickly as possible,"

a Rockstar spokesperson told GTAGaming.

"We would ask anyone that is encountering difficulties to contact their local technical support helpline for advice and recommendations. These telephone numbers can be found in the game's manual. "There is also a regularly updated technical support page available on the Rockstar Games website where there are many useful FAQs, and information on how to resolve some common problems being encountered,"

added the statement.

The problems appear to revolve around lengthy validation and astronomic graphics settings that not even the best PCs can utilise. One Steam forum member summed the problems up eloquently.As Kotaku points out, the Steam forums are not the only ones awash with floundering fans: GTAForums and the GTAGaming boards both exhibit large mobs of disgruntled purchasers.

This is a shame, because Grand Theft Auto IV remains a classic game, although the PC conversion - as Kieron Gillen highlights in his review - has a few too many technical hiccups.
