Online game - The Reawakening launched

Yay, finally! Swedish online game developer Lockpick Entertainment today announced that their anticipated Free-2-Play MMORTS game Dreamlords The Reawakening is launching at 2PM CET today.

Hordes of fans equipped with torches and pitchforks gathered in the parking lot outside the offices of Lockpick Entertainment in Skövde Sweden today, demanding the release of the long awaited follow-up The Reawakening. After an hour long stand-off, CEO David Rosén finally gave in and released first a Thûl, followed by a Covenant, a Nihilim and then the complete game. Everything immediately went online and can be found at www.dreamlords.com where anyone can access the Free-to-play game.

Needless to say the crowd cheered and spared the dazed developers. In the end everybody became best friends and gamed happily ever after.
“I am still a bit shaken by the events but very happy. We knew that the game was long awaited but I must say this was quite a surprise. Luckily the game was ready but in the end we had to release the Thûl before he’d taken a shower and put on some decent clothes…that is why he’s looking grumpy and acts pretty aggressive in the game,” said David Rosén.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 with performance Coach from EA Sports

Hank Haney Serves as Gamers Personal Performance Coach

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 features dynamic, personalized gameplay via Tiger Woods’ personal coach, Hank Haney. An all-new addition to this year’s game, Haney will assist gamers as they hit the links and try to advance their career to win the FedExCup. Right out of the box, Haney will assess your game in four areas: Power, Accuracy, Short Game and Putting and gamers will be given a skill level in each of those four areas.

In Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09, a player’s skill level is dynamic, constantly adjusting throughout the round just as it would during a real afternoon out on the links. Following each round, Haney will deliver customized feedback on a player’s performance. This feedback system allows all gamers, rookies or PGA TOUR pros, to compete and enjoy the game at any level.

Available for download (instructions below) is a video that illustrates Hank Haney’s role in the game and the Performance Coach feature.

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR will be available on August 26 on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, the PlayStation 2 and PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment systems, the PSP (PlayStationPortable) system and Wii.

In his first major interview since the now-infamous "geeks and otaku" comment was quoted in a magazine article, Fischer insisted that the company took people's concerns over the storage limits of its console seriously.
With the promised "solution" still shrouded in secrecy, Fischer reiterated Nintendo's official advice: "You can store your Virtual Console games on an SD card, and also we at Nintendo can store the things for you. So if you delete some of the software you have downloaded it's no problem to go again to the download process and get the software back for free."
