Shadow of the Tomb Raider first DLC The Forge - Free download

The first of seven new DLC adventures for Shadow of the Tomb Raider called The Forge. Available as a free download to all Season Pass holders, and sold separately, The Forge will launch worldwide on November 13th for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC Steam.

In The Forge, Lara must brave the lava-flooded Forge of the fallen gods to uncover the secrets of Kuwaq Yaku. Throughout her journey, Lara will uncover details about a friend’s ancient legacy, and overcome a danger long thought to be lost in flame. The Forge delivers a brand-new challenge tomb, playable in both solo and co-op. Players who complete the challenge tomb will be rewarded with the Grenadier skill, Brocken outfit, and Umbrage 3 - 80 weapon.

Real-time ray tracing is an innovative rendering technique in the PC version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, available on the Steam marketplace.

Long considered the definitive solution for realistic and lifelike lighting, reflections, and shadows, ray tracing offers a level of realism far beyond what is possible using traditional rendering techniques. Ray tracing has been used for years to pre-render life-like worlds in movies. Until now, it has been too demanding to be practical for real-time, interactive gaming, which requires fast frame rates and low latency.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Real Time Ray Tracing comes to Lara Croft Fans Gamescom 2018

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is being developed on the NVIDIA RTX platform and will be among the first games to feature real-time ray tracing as a rendering technique. The stunning results can be seen in the worldwide premiere of a Shadow of the Tomb Raider technology trailer released for Gamescom 2018.

Kicking off Gamescom, attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand Shadow of the Tomb Raider with playable demos at the GeForce Gaming Celebration taking place in Cologne on Aug. 20 and 21. Meanwhile, NVIDIA will host a behind-closed-doors, first-time playable demo of Shadow of the Tomb Raider using real-time ray tracing on PC.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Blood Ties chapter in Virtual Reality

The Blood Ties story chapter from the critically acclaimed Rise of the Tomb Raider, is now available for SteamVR and compatible with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets.

For the first time, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift owners can experience the Blood Ties single-player story chapter to unlock the mysteries of Croft Manor on SteamVR. When Lara’s uncle contests ownership of the family Manor, Lara must explore deep within the estate to find the hidden history that she is the rightful heir; or, lose her birthright and father’s secrets forever. PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider release date announced

Rise of the Tomb Raider will arrive on PlayStation 4 on October 11 this year. The release will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the original Tomb Raider including new DLC.

The new DLC will include two new single player missions titled Blood Ties and Lara’s Nightmare.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will launch on PlayStation 4 on Oct. 11, 2016

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will include the award-winning Rise of the Tomb Raider game, a completely new story chapter entitled “Blood Ties”, new co-op Endurance gameplay, PlayStation VR support for “Blood Ties”, all of the previously released DLC, more outfits, weapons, and Expedition Cards. The Limited Edition of the game will also feature a limited edition art book.

With the exception of VR support, all of the new content in Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will also be available for Xbox One and PC players. Current Season Pass owners on Xbox One and PC will automatically receive the content for free, and moving forward the existing Season Pass will be updated to include the new content. There is no Season Pass on PlayStation 4, as all of the content is included in the initial release.

It's time to take a death-defying leap into a classic gaming experience – Tomb Raider: Anniversary, the grand reimagining of the original 1996 Tomb Raider, is now available as a download on Mac.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is available to download through the Feral Store and Steam for just $10/€10/£8. Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be available from the Mac App Store soon.
