Eindhoven, The Netherlands - Dutch game studio Craft Game Studio has just announced a release date for the next major update of their virtual reality pirate game: Crooked Waters. Crooked Waters: Conquest - as the new update is called - will be released the 21st of June this year. Besides a ton of new features that come with this update, the cornerstone will be a whole new game mode where you fight your way through enemy territory and claim the well guarded treasure. All this can be played by yourself, coop or versus with up to 8 people.

Area of Darkness Sentinel game delayed - PC & PC VR

Due to some issues during development, Rematch Studios regret to announce that they will not be releasing Area of Darkness on the 30th as originally planned.

There is no new confirmed release date as it stands, with the immediate action being to ensure that players can enjoy Area of Darkness' adventure as the developers intended, battling supernatural threats rather than game-breaking bugs!

New Peaky Blinders VR game

Maze Theory have been awarded funding from the Government’s Audience of the Future Programme to develop the game with new cutting-edge AI performance technology. For the first time characters will respond to players’ gestures, movement, voice, sound and body language and have human-like interactions. Each player will have a completely individual experience.

Virtual reality meets mid-air haptics in exciting immersive experience new to ImmotionVR in Bristol UK

Ultrahaptics and Fallen Planet Studios have today announced the installation of a haptified virtual reality (VR) experience at ImmotionVR’s experience centre in Cabot Circus, Bristol. ImmotionVR, the UK’s largest group of VR experience centres, will showcase this new immersive event until the end of February 2019.

The experience in Bristol, AFFECTED: The Visit, is a collaboration between Ultrahaptics, the world leader in harnessing ultrasound to create a sense of touch in mid air, independent game development studio Fallen Planet Studios and ImmotionVR. It demonstrates a new level of immersive entertainment by bringing haptic feedback to the horror genre in a specially adapted version of Fallen Planet Studio’s hit VR game AFFECTED: The Manor.

The first DLC for its multiplayer VR game ARK Park will be available by the end of June – and it’s free!

Available on all supported platforms, “Pterosaur Hill” will add tons of new content – starting with the introduction of air combat, new maps for exploration, prehistoric creatures, and more.

The “Pterosaur Hill” DLC is built around the concept of flight. Three new maps are included: Mountain Lake, Crystal Sky Lift, and Aviary.
