It was many years ago when Chuck Sommerville designed the cult-classic puzzle game Chip’s Challenge, a crowning achievement that made him a household name across the globe.
Not content with conquering Earth, and unbeknownst to Chuck, his creation would break free from our humble planet. It glimpsed worlds we’ve never seen, passing through space and time, along the way attracting legions of weird-looking alien fans whose names we can’t pronounce. Now, as middle age wraps its spicy tendrils around Chuck’s tender flesh, he rediscovers his passion for game design and finds a friend where he would least expect it: forced into servitude by an intergalactic being named Woop. Woop has summoned Chuck for one purpose – to create a universe of puzzles for him to work his way out of.
Chuck’s Challenge 3D is a fiendishly addictive puzzle game with more than 125 finger-and-mind-bending levels and a full-featured editor. Take control of Woop and help him navigate his way through level after level of obstacles and challenges that stand between him and reaching the exit portal. Shift blocks, find keys, flip switches, wade through water, hot-foot it through lava and do everything it takes to make it out in one piece and evade an army of hungry creatures who want nothing more than to turn our purple hero into a nice ‘n tasty Woop Sandwich.
With 125 levels of puzzley goodness, a full-featured level editor, new visual features, Steam Trading Cards, Achievements and Workshop integration, CC3D on Steam is the definitive version of the game. The game also includes a level editor so you'll be able to create and share your own puzzles. It'll be released quite soon -- we're locking down release plans -- for $9.99.
