Samurai II: Dojo, a hack-and-slash action game, is now available on the App Store. This title includes the entire Survival Mode from their recent hit Samurai II: Vengeance, giving action fans a chance to experience the game completely free.
Bigger than an update, Dojo is a spinoff from October’s hit Samurai II, which garnered rave reviews from CNET, GamesRadar, PocketGamer, MacWorld, SlideToPlay, TouchArcade, and more. Dojo delivers tight controls, bloody action and just enough strategy to keep things interesting. It’s a free universal app, and the Retina display graphics make it a great title to show off your iPad or new iOS device.
In Dojo, the samurai battles wave after wave of vicious enemies, including all six types of foes and two enormous bosses from Samurai II: Vengeance. With stylized manga graphics and quick, brutal gameplay, Dojo is easy to jump into but challenging enough to keep high-score junkies coming back for “just one more.” After each round you will be healed up, assuming you can survive the onslaught of baddies. As you progress through the dojo, you’ll earn new combos and techniques, which are then unlocked for the next game. Level up to survive!
