Smallwonders launch their first online contest, “Battle of Puppets contest” with a new endless mode.
The winner will get a iPod nano and iTunes card worth 25$. But, before, he/she needs to demonstrate that is the best player with one of the five armies of Battle of Puppets, Valkiria, Madama Butterfly, Carmen, Aida and Salome. Moreover, players who obtain higher scores with one of the other fourth armies will also receive a 25$ iTunes card and two more cards will be drawn amongst all participants.
The comic heroes‘ city stage
Battle of Puppets contest offers you a new stage that represents the comic heroes’ city with many references to famous heroes.
In fact, Smallwonders have created a new endless mode of this game which has been downloaded by more than 500,000 users and it has been in the top ten downloads in the US A.

The contest will start on December 1st and it will finish on December 22th . The score will be automatically sent after finishing a game in the new endless mode. So, player will have three week to demostrate his/her skills. The top player in each one of the armies will be awarded and the best one will become the ‘Master of Puppets’ and will receive a special award. Two cards will be drawn amongst all participants, too. Winners will be announced on December 23 .

Battle of Puppets is the first game of Smallwonders and got the best mobile videogame award in the Spanish National Awards for the
videogame industry Gamelab 2010. It is a strategy game that
combines the hallowed art of puppetry, with ruthless marionette
combat. The player has five armies that are based on five well-known
operas, Valkiria, Madama Butterfly, Carmen, Aida and Salome. You can
build strategic units with them and protect the castle and the
outposts, repair the troops or control the mind of the enemy.
The game
Batle of Puppets is an original linear strategy game that combines, the art of puppetry, with ruthless marionette combat!
Players must strategically control their hordes of marionette and send them across the show stage. The goal is to perform your act on Broadway, but first, they must travel across the country, defeating opposing puppets along the way! Battle of Puppets combines beautiful graphics, the hallowed art of puppetry, and ruthless combat.
Players select and perform between five operas; Valkiria, Madame Butterfly, Carmen, Aida and Salome in a series of 22 American theatres, each with its own custom backdrop of famous landmarks.
Each competition then lets the puppeteer strategically build units, upgrade their castle and outposts, and even cast spells using written gestures to destroy the opposing forces and win the affection of the crowd.
Each of the 5 operas vary significantly in terms of relative strengths and weaknesses, unit types, building speeds, and most interestingly, how they are affected by changing weather conditions.
There are also 6 professions and an extra race to unlock as the campaigns progress. Professions let players perform magic to sway the course of battle on stage, and are activated by executing unique gestures on the touch-screen. Also, use the unlockable race to take on the hard mode campaign.
