Mount & Blade Video Game Releases New Patch

New Patch Further Improves Widely Acclaimed Gameplay

Taleworlds Entertainment and Paradox Interactive today announced the release of a downloadable patch for the widely acclaimed action-RPG Mount & Blade to further enhance the game’s offerings.

The new patch addresses a variety of issues that were affecting the overall gaming experience within Mount & Blade. The most prominent issues eliminated with Patch 1.010 are the following:
• The patch solves compatibility problems with the latest ATI catalyst drivers as well as start-up issues on computers operating Vista
• Rendering performance significantly improved over version 1.
• The patch fixes numerous bugs within certain quests and eliminates issues related to strategical developments in the game such as winning a civil war or abandoning a civil war
• The patch includes text corrections, corrections to the castle, village set-ups, and troop equipment changes

The patch fixes both the English and German versions of the game.

Mount & Blade is a single-player, third or first-person action/role-playing game set in the medieval war-torn land of Calradia. The game features groundbreaking horseback combat, intuitive swordplay, and a free-form environment in which players can roam freely to explore new cities, conquer foreign armies and earn a reputation as the realm’s most courageous warrior. The game features a unique combat system that accounts for players’ defensive reactions in battle as well as their physical positioning.

Mount & Blade shipped to North American outlets on September 16th and to European outlets on September 19th and is also available for purchase through digital download at GamersGate.
