The Space In Between Game: Free visual novel that tackles teenage mental health on PC & Mac

The Space in Between, for free on Steam (PC) and Itch (PC, Mac, Browser). Control the narrative of an emotional visual novel and dating simulator that features a poignant story about Asian American identity and mental health.

Indie studio Sondering Studios is headed by University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) student Emily Pitcher, a Chinese-American woman, and six of the seven other members working on The Space in Between are Asian-American as well. Pitcher recognized that the few Asian roles in mainstream American gaming are samurai warriors or martial artists, so she wanted to create a project with contemporary representation. She hopes to make young creatives feel heard and pave the way for other women developers of color to tell their stories through gaming.

The Game Development World Championship (GDWC) Fan Favourite Final Vote has opened today. There are a whopping 32 games from 18 countries competing for the title of Fan Favourite game of 2020.

Fan Favourite Finalists have been picked by gamers during GDWC Weekly Votes throughout last year with the winner each week moving on to the Finals. The Top 3 teams in Fan Favourite category will take home The GDWC 2020 Care Packages.

Capcom Cup Cancelled Due to Rising Cases of COVID-19 to be replaced with online Season final

The Capcom Cup and Street Fighter League World Championship scheduled for February has been cancelled due to rising cases of COVID-19 worldwide say Capcom.

The company said that while it originally believed that it would have been able to run the event with limited risk, the steep rise in cases in some regions made it reevaluate its decision. There will be an online-only Season Final in lieu, which will focus on highlighting the best players from this season.

Nioh 2: The Complete Edition base story and all three DLC expansions - PC

In Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition, players will encounter a deadly assortment of enemies as they venture through both Sengoku-era Japan and the deadly Dark Realm – though they do not have to take on this challenge alone. PC players will receive all of the multiplayer features present in the original release, allowing them to summon help when the going gets tough through both the base story and all three DLC expansions.

There are three different multi-hero experiences available in Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition: Bloody Graves, Benevolent Graves, and the Co-op Mode found at the Torii Gate. At Bloody Graves, players are able to summon the Revenant (AI-controlled spectres) of other players, offering them a chance to fight these spirits to earn loot and experience. Benevolent Graves similarly allow the summoning of an AI-controlled character, but when offering Ochoko Cups to these graves the character will fight alongside your player for a brief period. The final option, the Co-op Mode found at the Torii Gate, offers players the chance to fight alongside each other in real-time to defeat the deadly yokai. While playing in this online mode, companions can be resurrected mid-fight; however, there will not be any checkpoints to rely on.
