PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Drops into Action at Gamescom 2018

PUBG Corp reveal plans to showcase PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), the global battle royale gaming phenomenon, at Gamescom 2018, the world’s largest video game show taking place in Cologne, Germany, from August 21 to August 25.

PUBG Corp. will have exciting activations at several locations across the consumer area.

Players will not want to miss the PUBG on Xbox experience, featuring a new mode for Xbox One, playable for the first time at Gamescom – only in the Xbox booth (located in hall 8).

What is Shenmue? Part 3: Brush up on your Jiu Jitsu moves ahead of the launch next week - PC PS4 XO

Next week, on August 21st, the Shenmue saga begins… With the English voice of Ryo Hazuki, Corey Marshall, to create deep-dive videos ahead of the Shenmue I & II release. If you missed our previous episodes, you can catch up on the first one detailing the saga’s story, and the second video looking at the different key characters in Shenmue. Now Corey walks us through combat systems and the different mini-games players can spend time with in the world.

Ryo Hazuki is a Jiu Jitsu master-in-training, spending his spare time busting up the bad guys or sparring with his friends. In Shenmue I & II, you’ll use and unlock real Jiu Jitsu moves that you can level up throughout and transfer between both games – which will come in useful as the enemies become tougher throughout the saga. Beyond stunning Jiu Jitsu moves, you will need great reflexes to progress through Ryo’s quest of retribution. Players will be able to experience first-hand the very first Quick Time Events, which Shenmue introduced to the gaming world.

GameOn 2018 new gaming event in Vilnius will focus on indies and business

GameOn is the trailblazing gaming event in the Baltic region. The team of avid gamers, game developers, journalists and esports enthusiasts was formed around 2015 to establish a high-quality expo in Lithuania. Since then GameOn has grown into the epic yearly convention dedicated to gaming and technology enthusiasts and will return to Vilnius on November 2-3rd.

As GameOn is growing, so are the tasks and expectations organisers set for themselves.
