Xbox One - Microsoft reverses Xbox One sharing policies and always online restriction

Tonight Microsoft have confirmed that the new Xbox One (once set up) will no longer need to stay online. Microsoft have also said used games will play the same as the X360.

PS3 update bricks consoles - don't update your PlayStation 3 to V4.45

Sony have pulled PS3 update version 4.45 after a number of PlayStation 3 owners reported their console 'bricked' by the update.

A Sony spokesperson said "We are aware of reports that the recent PlayStation 3 system software update (version 4.45) has caused the XMB to not display on a small number of PS3 systems.

War of the Roses New Content Update Adds New Map and Handgonnes to Medieval Multiplayer Game - PC

The latest salvo in War of the Roses, the medieval squad combat title from Fatshark, with a new content update. The latest addition to War of the Roses is entitled “Guns of Burgundy,” and adds a new weapon type to turn the tide of the endless struggle between Lancaster and York: handgonnes, the world’s first portable firearm. Capable of cutting down fleeing foes and punching damaging holes in a knight’s shield, handgonnes come in four types and can be wielded by knights with a steady arm and reliable flint. A new map and new armor pieces are also included in this update, which is now available for download in War of the Roses.
