Ghostbuster on PC has no Multiplayer option as developers concentrate on console versions...

ghostbusters video game alyssa milano gamezplay The developers of Ghostbusters have defended the decision not to include multiplayer in the PC version, which came out in the US this month.

"Multiplayer for the PC version of Ghostbusters is something that Threewave and Terminal Reality always wanted to do," Dan Irish, CEO of multiplayer developer Threewave, told Big Download. "However, our focus was on making the console version the best that they could be."

As a result, said Irish, compromises needed to be made elsewhere. "We couldn't do all versions with multiplayer simultaneously with the resources that we had available - there was simply too much to do," he explained. "Something would have to suffer."

Ghostbusters is due out for PS3 and PS2 tomorrow, 19th June, with a PSP version to follow in the autumn and Xbox 360, PC, Wii and DS versions due out later this year - the latter versions having been held up after Sony stepped in to publish the game for Atari at the 11th hour.

The ascent continues the next stage of climbing Cursed Mountain

cursed mountain gameSurvival horror game Cursed Mountain will be released exclusively on Nintendo Wii

On the official Cursed Mountain website, Deep Silver opens the gate to the next stop during the ascent of Mt. Chomolonzo in the Himalayas. What traces did Eric Simmons leave in the village at the foot of the mountain during the search for his brother? Are there any clues in the monastery? Postcards from his grueling trip, diary entries and video material speak of the dangers Eric encounters while climbing Mt. Chomolonzo. The documents surrounding his journey can be viewed at http://cursedmountain.deepsilver.com.

About Cursed Mountain:
Set in the late 1980s, gamers will take on the role of a fearless mountaineer as he climbs into the Himalayas on a quest to find his lost brother. As he ascends the mountain, he encounters an ancient curse: the souls of the people who died in that region are stuck in limbo, caught in the Shadow World. Villagers, pilgrims, mountaineers and Buddhist monks – dead but not yet reincarnated – are all that is left on the mountain.

Terrible visions will disorient him, and ghosts and demons block his path. But the question remains – is his brother still alive?
