La Tale fantasy video game for PC

La TaleLA TALE is a MMORG set in a fantasy world of sword and sorcery. The player creates a character in the class that best suits their gaming style; Warrior, Knight, Wizard, or Explorer.

La Tale is a side-scrolling game which looks and feels like a "platformer" -- a genre of video games where players have to navigate an environment by getting their characters up onto platforms. The gameplay is controlled mostly with the keyboard and characters will perform the animations of climbing, walking, swinging hand over hand, or swimming as the environment dictates. Game controls are simple, tooltips are plentiful, and PC requirements low.

La Tale
Cute and colorful in an anime style, this game is fun to play and easy to get into. Character development is not complex, although players would be well advised to read guides that are already out on the various skills and classes. Apart from exploring dungeons and killing monsters with sword or magic to earn gold, players will enjoy dressing their characters in a multitude of fashions. They will need to learn a single crafting skill, which is a nice social aspect of the game as crafters are dependent upon each other to produce sub-components or the final item.
Another engaging aspect of gameplay are pets. Like players, they get stronger the more they experience, and kids get to watch them grow from egg to baby to adulthood. Pets provide different benefits to the player, depending on the type of pet you have, and they are bought from the item shop using money earned in the game or real money.

More Cool Stuff from X-Blades video game

More Action from X-Blades, the fast-paced action adventure game, featuring a blend of cinematic style and beautiful anime-inspired characters, combat and environments.

Fireball: I always loved fire, even as a little girl. Then people noticed that I was able to command fire in some mysterious way. That's why I have a special affinity for these skills and I like learning them. A Fireball can be hurled against all kinds of enemies, even airborne opponents. On impact, it explodes and throws the opponent to the ground. This spell is really effective against Ice Elementals.

Fire Blades: The power of Fire amazes me, because it truly is a skill that has aided me in many battles. I've learned to harness the power of fire and imbue it into my very own gunblades. This is quite a skill to master because the last thing an adventurer wants to do is melt her own weapons accidentally. This spell also allows me to shoot blazing projectiles at my enemies as well. Fire is a beautiful thing. (Requirement: Fireball)

Dark Elementals: A particle of the Dark which has a slight awareness of its own existence. Little more than a parasitic vampire, Dark Elementali suck away their victim's energy after melting it down with dark magic. Since they consume a lot of energy and spawn quickly, they're often hungry and extremely aggressive.

Ice Elementali: Ice Elementali are the embodiment of Cold magic. The result of dangerous experiments conducted by ancient magicians, these creatures can stop the use of magic by binding their victim's body with ice, thereby slowing them down. As are all Elemantalis, they're vulnerable to magic opposed to their own.
X-Blades is a fast-paced action adventure game, featuring a blend of cinematic style and beautiful anime-inspired characters, combat and environments. Players assume the role of Ayumi, a charismatic and fearless treasure hunter who users her pistol blades and magic spells to defeat her enemies. X-Blades will be available later this winter.

Pets and Mounts for Runes of Magic PC video game introduced free to play and download

Frogster reveals information about mounts and pets in Runes of Magic shortly before the start of the open beta.

Mounts not only allow for faster travelling, but they also are a status symbol for every Runes of Magic player. They can be rented for a period of time from merchants for ingame currency. This feature is accessible for players right from character level one. Amongst others permanent mounts for lifetime are available at the item shop.

Due to a large selection of pets, collectors will get their money’s worth in Runes of Magic. Besides goblins, cats and wolves, exotic pets like a small Grim Reaper are following the players at every turn in the vast game world. But the following also is essential: the little companions can rarely be found in the loot of defeated enemies. Impatient players can use the item-shop, where they can buy pets and mounts for either a trial period or their whole life.
In the future Frogster plans additional features for their pets. Already in development are companions that can assist players in battles, cast beneficial magic spells on players and can even fight in special arenas against each other. Frogster also plans to introduce mounted combat in one of the upcoming patches: players can fight on horseback against monsters, as well as human opponents.

Open Beta for Secondhand Lands fairy-tale world video game

second hand lands
Developer invites the furry, feral, and just plain curious to sneak a peek before launch

the beginning of the Open Beta for Secondhand Lands, a fairy-tale world populated by furry-tailed adventurers such as sheep, wolves, catgirls, and scrappers. Now is the purr-fect time for fur-lovers and just plain curious gamers to experience the four-legged world complete with over 120 handwritten quests, an a la carte skill system, and player to player mounting.

In addition to the same vanilla game-play mechanics of other massive online games, Secondhand Lands brings a feature never seen before: player to player mounting. “It’s a completely consensual process, of course,” says Bobby Thurman, owner and lead developer of Secondhand Lands. Players can equip a saddle and invite others to ride them into battle for an experience unrivaled by mere partying.

The world of Secondhand Lands is also colored with parody and witty fun. Memorable quests such as stealing cable for the gnomes, exploring the forest of poorly animated creatures, and taking racy footage for the scandalous “Bears Gone Wild” documentary add decided flavor to the leveling process. Players can spend hard-earned points to gain new skills or perfect those previously known.
Speaking of his inspiration for the game, Thurman remarks, “I was heavily inspired by the Krofft brothers, who scarred me for life with HR Pufnstuf.” He continues, “My goal is the same: to awaken that sense of wonderment and keep players excited about what they’ll discover next.”
Secondhand Lands can be downloaded for free from Pixel Mine Games. Visit the Secondhand Lands website for more information.

Secondhand Lands

Secondhand Lands is the massively multiplayer online game set in a fairytale world colored with parody and witty fun. The heroes are comprised of a motley crew of wolves, sheep, catgirls, and scrappers who have pledged their undying (well, perhaps not undying) allegiance to either Little Bo Peep or Red Riding Hood. In addition to the vanilla game-play mechanics of mainstream online games, this world offers over 120 handwritten quests, a crafting system to trump all loots, and an a la carte skill system to keep the Billy Goats Gruff at bay for quite some time!

Free-to-play online game Warstorm

Online Collectable Card Game Launches the Demon Expansion

Challenge Online Games, Inc. (Challenge Games) announces the first expansion set for their free-to-play online game, Warstorm (www.warstorm.com). The Warstorm Demon Expansion brings additional depth and new strategies to the game. Not only was the Demon faction added to battle with the existing Elves, Humans, Orcs and the Undead, but every faction was updated to improve the game balance. Over 170 new cards, including ultra rare and achievement were added, and fifteen new special powers were distributed across all factions.
“The Demon expansion brings in a whole new dimension to the number of strategies we have in Warstorm,” said Matt Deegler, the Lead Developer of Challenge’s Storm Team. “It plays heavily on creating combo decks that require you to really think about which cards you want to use in each battle. For example, there is the new Command special which allows certain hero cards to buff the attack value of all matching types in play.”
Each demon is driven by its elemental nature: fire, ice, or death, seeking to destroy everything and remake the world into its own image. It is up to the player to decide whether to battle their demons or become one with them.

Warstorm takes collectable card games (CCG) into the massively multiplayer online (MMO) world. Unlike other MMO titles that may require long sessions to initiate and complete a battle, Warstorm is a browser-driven game that can be played in short sessions, letting players compete with their friends in asynchronous combat.

Warstorm can be played for free, but players can select to upgrade faster by buying cards through micro-transactions or by winning card packs in tournament play where up to sixteen players can compete at-once in a skirmish bracket competition.

Warstorm is the third free short-form multiplayer online game from Challenge Games. Its debut game, Duels, was the first massively multi-player role-playing game (MMORPG) to be integrated directly with Facebook. It currently has over a quarter of a million players worldwide. Challenge Games’ second title, Baseball Boss, launched this summer. Baseball Boss is an official licensee of MLB Advanced Media and the MLBA, and it is the first game to combine baseball simulation games with collectable card games.
