Precise VR golf experience adds new game modes on Meta Quest, SteamVR, and Pico
Golf 5, the gorgeous, physics-driven VR golf game developed by AAA Game Studios, hits a hole-in-one in new game modes and remastered courses in the Playoff Edition update on Meta Quest, SteamVR, and Pico 4 today.
In the Playoff Edition Update, the grass truly is greener for two original courses receiving complete graphical overhauls and three new game modes: Squeeze in quick, 3-hole competitions in Flash 3 Holes Mode, conquer courses with foursomes in Scramble Mode, and duel against duos in 2 vs. 2 Fourball Mode.
Grab a driver, factor in the wind, and swing for glory across seven iconic real-world courses alongside four original 18-hole creations. Analyze each swing with Golf 5’s High Precision Control Physics engine. Practice on the driving range and putting green, then compete either solo or online matches to climb official eGolf leaderboards.

Step onto the newly remastered Golden Dunes, Forest Parkland, or Tropical Paradise, as well as seven real-life tracks, for 9- and 18-hole matches. Tee off at Royal County Down, take in the historic sights of St. Andrews Old Course, or recreate pivotal moments at the many courses of The Open, all unlockable through play or via the in-game store.
Playoff Edition adds all-new ways to play with friends online:
Fourball Mode, where 2-vs.-2 dueling duos only count the best team member’s score
Flash 3 Holes Mode for bite-sized servings of competition on the links
Scramble Mode, where the best swing of four players determines the next shot
