Sleight of Hand, the third-person, card-slinging occult noir stealth sim from the powerhouse team at RiffRaff Games (headed by Joshua Boggs, creator of multi-award-winning noir puzzle game FRAMED), today unveils a new behind-the-scenes trailer featuring snippets of the first look at gameplay during Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Edition.
Cast curses from the shadows to investigate a corrupt Coven as former private detective Lady Luck (Debi Mae West, Metal Gear Solid’s Meryl Silverburgh). Only one problem: Lady Luck once belonged to that self-same network of witches. Command spell cards to harness ritualistic magic abilities, manipulating smoke and shadow. Skulk through Steeple City, tying up enemies and executing stealthy takedowns on a mission of redemption beneath the cloak of darkness.
Set in the rain-soaked streets of Steeple City, the game follows Lady Luck (voiced by Debi Mae West, known for her role as Meryl Silverburgh in Metal Gear Solid), as she investigates her old witch coven and its recent rise to power. Armed with a taboo deck of cursed cards, players will uncover sinister truths, navigate ritualistic magic systems, and mete out justice against their past companions as they see fit, in a world dripping with noir flavour.
Players will harness the power of their cards to outwit enemies: see through walls, blind opponents to avoid detection, or vanish in a puff of smoke to evade capture. When stealth fails, turn the tables with devastating curses and combos. Upgrade your deck to unleash powerful abilities like the Crone’s Mark to crush the bones in an enemy’s body, or use synergies to inflict Hexes, teleport behind targets, and execute silent takedowns.
Sleight of Hand is coming to PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass “when it’s ready”.
