A number of new features have been introduced, such as the chance for guilds to conquer fortresses. New towns and travel routes have also been added, as well as dozens of quests about guilds and castle warfare. Players can also learn more about the fascinating world of The Witcher in story quests. Players can enter the fray of battle as a Witcher, a Sorceress, or a Frightener and put the wealth of skills that each class of character comes equipped with to good use. Once they have reached a certain level, players can leave the keep, Kaer Morhen, and set out in search of new and dangerous realms, where more powerful opponents await. Players can access more regions of the gameworld with as their experience increases.
