X-Morph Defence free update - new survival mode

EXOR Studios has released a free update to their publicly acclaimed twin-stick shooter/tower defence hybrid, X-Morph: Defense. It is available to all users who purchased the base version of the game. Survival is an endless game mode, where the player must defend their base for as long as possible against enemy waves, increasing in strength over time. Randomised enemy types and upgrades guarantee a unique experience with every play through. Apart from providing free content, EXOR Studios is also working on a new DLC, featuring more maps for the survival game mode.

The Council Episode 2 - Hide and Seek released on May 15

Episode two of The Council, the narrative adventure game that redefines the genre with RPG mechanics and consequences for every choice, will release on May 15. Hide and Seek continues the story of Louis de Richet as he deals with the dramatic results of his actions in episode one, released to press and player acclaim earlier this year. He must continue his investigation into the disappearance of his mother, Sarah, while dealing with the newly-arrived Spanish head of state, the finally-revealed Lord Mortimer, and the quickly-forming factions on the island.

BAFTA honour Nolan North with special award on June 11th in Los Angeles

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) is to honour Nolan North with a Special Award at an event at The London West Hollywood on Monday 11 June. The event, which takes place on the eve of the E3 games conference in Los Angeles (12-14 June), is part of BAFTA’s ever-increasing global games activity.

The award will be presented to Nolan North, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to performance in games. Previous games professionals to receive a BAFTA Special Award include Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill (on behalf of Riot Games), Brenda Romero, Amy Hennig and Markus Persson.

Closers - New character Harpy added to Wolf Dogs in game

The next upcoming character to join the Wolf Dogs playable roster in Closers, the anime-styled online RPG beat ‘em up. Coming May 22, the sultry and sneaky Harpy will showcase her prowess of powerful kicks and energy-laden card attacks. The former 'Phantom Thief' used her newfound powers to enhance her skills as a professional thief, but was caught stealing from the Vulture Corp and coerced to be the new “shadow” of the Wolf Dogs.

Closers is a multiplayer online action RPG (MOARPG) beat-em-up in which players take the role of one of the “Closers,” a group of psychic teenagers chosen by the world government to stop an alien invasion by defeating hordes of lethal monsters and closing inter dimensional gates to thwart the invaders and their evil incursion.
