Christopher Tin Composing Title Theme For Sid Meier’s Civilization VI - world premiere of Sogno di Volare

Christopher Tin is the composer of the title theme for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, launching on October 21st for Windows PC.


Famed for his composing of the only piece of video game music to win a Grammy Award, the title theme to Sid Meier’s Civilization IV ‘Baba Yetu’, Tin returns to the franchise to compose for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, called ‘Sogno di Volare’ (The Dream of Flight).

The Great Whale Road is a medieval RPG with turn-based tactics, longships and axes. Players travel the whale road - an Anglo-Saxon name for the sea - to supply their home settlement. Recruiting a crew and the occasional hero requires renown, which the player can earn in combat as well as by trading and exploring.

Seven Knights Releases BlazBlue-Inspired Update - iOS Android

Three characters motivated by BlazBlue including Tsubaki Yayoi, Noel Vermillion and Ragna the Bloodedge, will make their debut in Seven Knights starting today.


The characters will look and feel like the original, as the action and design were highlighted in bringing them to Seven Knights. Additionally, Netmarble announced various player events for July, the official “Seven Knights Month,” rewarding players with daily login and check in prizes.

Splatoon - show off your abilities with Summer of Splat - Wii U

Since its launch in May 2015, Splatoon has brought a world of colour to over 3 million players worldwide, thanks to its unique combination of creative action-shooter gameplay and family-friendly fun.

From splatting opponents and laying claim to turf, players old and new have geared up and honed their inking skills to perfection. Now Nintendo is asking the UK community to dive into a world of colour and take part in The Summer of Splat – a squid-tastic celebration of Splatoon.

The Summer of Splat will bring kids and squids together over the course of four weekends (from the 16th July to the 7th August) to take part in The Great British Splat-Off, a series of online tournaments where they can show off their style, seek to cover the most territory and ultimately prove what they are made of.


Open to Inklings of all levels to come together in teams of four, players can sign up to join one of three different leagues online:

Squid Kid League: For younger players – Turf War game mode only
Inkling League: Beginner/casual players – Turf War game mode only
Octo League: Open to all ages and levels – More challenging featuring all game modes

Hojo Tokimune leads Japan in Civilization VI - First Look: Japan trailer - PC

2K and Firaxis Games today revealed that Hojo Tokimune will lead Japan in Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, launching on Oct 21st for Windows PC.


Hojo Tokimune, born in 1251, was the eighth Shikken (de facto ruler, or Shogun-regent) of Japan. He is chiefly remembered for leading Japanese forces to victory against the invading Mongol Empire, as well as spreading Zen Buddhism throughout Japan and championing the Bushido way of life.
