Marisa of Liartop Mountain, developer Unknown X’s gamebook-inspired digital tabletop-style adventure RPG based on Touhou Project, adds a book’s worth of new content with the launch of today’s new demo. Explore the first chapter today on PC via Steam. When Marisa goes missing, it’s up to Shrine Maiden Reimu to figure out her whereabouts! Follow the clues and adventure into the living pages of a magical storybook. Inside, each character becomes an adorable cardboard tabletop figurine, and dice rolls and decisions pen the path forward.

In this demo, you’ll experience the first two days of running the shop. It's just a small glimpse into a much larger journey filled with secrets, rituals, and the strange rhythms of Undermere life.

In FestiVILE: Carnival Crisis, Carmen Sandiego heads to New Orleans to help save the city’s biggest Pride parade. VILE has, in typical fashion, crashed the party and stolen the parade’s prized floral decorations before the celebration even gets started. Can Carmen beat the clock and save the parade? Players can join the limited-time event starting today and running through July 6th and, if they solve the case, will unlock a fabulous new in-game outfit, fit for a master thief with serious pride. But players should hurry - once the event is done until next year.

Smyths Toys Switch 2 goodie bag contents (UK)

Smyths Toys opened their doors at midnight (5th July) for the launch of Switch 2. I visited their Glasgow, Scotland store.

Gamezplay waited for the 11pm opening, arriving at 9.50 and joined the end of a long queue of other Nintendo Switch 2 fans. Mostly for the collection of pre-ordered Switch 2 and accessories, the store also had a load of Consoles available to purchase. The staff handed out tickets to make sure the sales were fair.

New, free update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, “Mysteries of Skull Rock,” will go live on all platforms on June 18th. This update will add the carefree boy who loves to fly, Peter Pan. In the new “Mysteries of Skull Rock” update, players will team up with the Forgotten in a nostalgic quest to uncover the secrets of Skull Rock, culminating in the arrival of Peter Pan. The trio will work together to open the eponymous landmark and investigate a possibly nefarious shadow lurking in its depths.
