Isonzo takes place on the southern front of the Great War, immersing players into the titanic clash between the Kingdom of Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Inspired by the two year struggle for the Isonzo river, Isonzo will see players deploy to new WW1 battlefields which are beautiful but deadly in equal measure.

The fighting takes place among the scenic peaks, rugged valleys and idyllic towns of northern Italy. The brand new Offensive game mode puts players right in the middle of key historical offensives on the Italian Front, from high-altitude combat in the Alps through to the ferocious battles for the Isonzo river.

Magic: The Gathering Arena Out Now On Mobile, New Card Set Strixhaven: School of Mages Out April 15th

Wizards of the Coast has unveiled the latest details for its next Magic: The Gathering premier set, Strixhaven: School of Mages. Releasing on MTG Arena for PC, Mac, iOS and Android on April 15th and tabletop on April 23rd, Wizards of the Coast revealed a first look at brand new cards, new mechanics, and special cards from Magic’s past and more.

Over 30 Strixhaven cards debuted today, including powerful Planeswalker cards for Kasmina, Will and Rowan Kenrith, and Professor Onyx (a familiar face in disguise!). Players were also given a deep dive into Strixhaven’s five schools and the elder dragons that founded them - Lorehold, Prismari, Quandrix, Silverquill and Witherbloom.

Barotrauma sci-fi submarine sim free to play

Sci-fi submarine sim Barotrauma is playable for free starting 23rd March at 10 am PST / 6 pm CET until Thursday, March 25th, same time. The game will also be on sale at 55% off until Friday, March 26th at 10 am PST / 6 pm CET.

 

Barotrauma is currently in Early Access and receives free updates and new content on a regular basis. The latest update, Uncharted Depths, was released in December 2020 and added new missions and enemies.

STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town game help save Scotland Pine hoverfly

Marvelous Europe Limited, publisher of STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town, is thrilled to announce a partnership with the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), the wildlife conservation charity which aims to save one of the UK’s rarest species, the pine hoverfly.

With its natural habitat restricted to just one site -- a small forest patch in the Cairngorms in Scotland -- the pine hoverfly is so rare in the UK that no one has seen an adult of this species in the wild for over seven years. As part of the #SOSPOOT Campaign, Marvelous Europe is donating £20,000 to part-fund building new facilities at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s Highland Wildlife Park. These will include a larval rearing room, space for the adult hoverflies to fly and mate, and preparation space for staff to ready the abundance of flowers the hoverflies need for food. With the money from Marvelous Europe and other donors, including The National Geographic Society, Cairngorms National Park Authority, Forestry and Land Scotland, and NatureScot, it is hoped that this conservation breeding programme will help bring the critically endangered pine hoverfly back from the edge of extinction.
