Meet Effie, Engineer in ‘The Last Autumn’ and Frostpunk’s First Official Cosplay

First photos of the first official Frostpunk cosplay along with a 12-minute gameplay video featuring commentary from project lead, Jakub Stokalski. The Last Autumn DLC, coming to PC on January 21st, broadens the lore of the game and tells a prequel story set before the apocalyptic winter struck. It’s the biggest expansion for the hit city-builder survival sim yet, and to celebrate the release 11 bit studios teamed up with professional cosplayer, Moosefix, to recreate one of the main characters from the Frostpunk universe - Effie MacLachlan.


Effie is one of the many engineers that has been recently deployed to an unknown location to work on a top-secret project and is controlled by the one and only supreme ruler of the in-game society - the player.

When one is abducted by Queen Evangelyn and her heavily armed forces, the other must spring into action and rescue her partner from captivity by any means necessary.

Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) 2020 raising $3.13 million for Prevent Cancer Foundation

Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) 2020 concluded its week-long 24-hour speed running marathon, celebrating its 10 year anniversary and raising a total of $3.13 million for Prevent Cancer Foundation.


AGDQ 2020 also had more donations than any previous Games Done Quick event, with more than 54,000 donations from more than 80 different countries.

More than 2,750 people attended AGDQ 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Orlando. The event was also broadcast on Twitch, which peaked at more than 236,000 concurrent viewers.

Bug Academy 2.5D arcade game on PC and Switch

On January 14th, 2020, a new 2.5D arcade game will debut on PC – Bug Academy. The game allows the training of flies, fireflies, mosquitoes and bees. The title stands out with its joyfully chaotic gameplay and a charming audiovisual setting. In the first quarter of 2020, Bug Academy will also be released on Nintendo Switch.


Bug Academy is a production of the Polish studio Igrek Games. The publishers are Gaming Factory S.A. and Ultimate Games S.A. At the beginning of 2019, this title successfully completed its funding campaign on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform.
