The Midnight Sanctuary Japanese supernatural horror tale Haunts Switch PS4 Steam

In hopes of becoming a modern tourist destination, the people from long-isolated village of Daiusu have built a majestic cathedral to attract visitors with its religious history. Enter quirky historian Hamomuro Tachibana, voiced by popular Japanese actress YĆ« Shimamura (Final Fantasy XV, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Attack on Titan), come to chronicle the many legends kept in the local archive and teach villagers about modern customs.


Tachibana’s stay quickly takes a heinous turn when residents begin phasing in and out of existence, hurling themselves from the cliffs overlooking the rural town, and contorting in spine-shattering positions. As she learns of the locals’ cult-like adoration for a mysterious deity known as “The Saint”, Tachibana begins to question what is real. Are these villagers specters in the night? Is The Saint real and returning, and if so, what horrors come with her?

HyperParasite Kickstarter date announced - PC Switch XOne

Troglobytes Games is excited to reveal that their crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, for rogue-lite, twin-stick shooter, HyperParasite, will commence October 10, 2018.


With work well underway, Troglobytes Games has earmarked a 2019 release, the developer seeks to raise a modest $29,000 to accelerate development, and to aid the porting to consoles.

TERA has frightening plans for Halloween 2019

October has finally arrived, and plenty of tricks and treats await players of TERA on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! The spirit of Halloween haunts every town in TERA and players can participate in a special Halloween Festival Hall dungeon event.


Defend the stash of sweets from marauding monsters and be rewarded with, what else, but candy of course! Reward candy can be used in the in-game shop to purchase various spooky masks and accessories, as well as two special prizes: the looting ghost Pet Boo and the Boneshaker ground mount, available only during the Halloween season!

Forza Horizon 4 to come alive on stage at Interactive Futures

The UK’s newest games conference and festival, Interactive Futures, is delighted to announce that members of the key design team behind Forza Horizon 4 are the latest additions the event’s speaker programme. The event, based in Leamington Spa, will take place from Thursday 31 January – Saturday 2 February with a focus on games development, technical insights, video games culture and career opportunities.


Hot on the heels of the global release of Forza Horizon 4, Playground Games will be presenting two in-depth sessions at Interactive Futures on Friday 1 February. The Forza Horizon series is one of Leamington Spa’s best known exports, and the latest edition was released this week on Tuesday 2 October 2018.

Guinness World Records have officially recognised Warriors Orochi 4 as having the Most playable characters in a hack-and-slash video game. The certificate was presented to the game’s producer Masaki Furusawa during a press event in Japan. The considerable achievement was accomplished by having a total of 170 playable characters from the Dynasty and Samurai Warriors universes, giving players an astounding number of options to choose from when playing alone, or with a friend.
