The deeply immersive 15 or 30-minute social VR experiences brings socialising with friends to a new dimension; battling zombies in a survival game, intergalactic firefights in space and solving puzzles in fantastical alien worlds.

Players enter the arena equipped with headsets, headphones, military-styled backpacks and a gun (for shooter games) to navigate their full-motion avatars through the Ready Player One-like worlds. Senses are heightened as gamers manoeuvre through the hyper-realistic virtually generated world, all while set in a 180-sq metre e-sports arena.

Tri-Ace’s Gun-Slinging RPG Classic Resonance of Fate Remastered as a 4K HD Edition for PS4 and PC

Japan-based software developer tri-Ace today announced that it has remastered its classic tactical gunplay role-playing game Resonance of Fate in 4K HD as a digital-only release on PlayStation 4 and, for the first time, on PC. The steampunk aesthetic, fateful story, soaring symphonic soundtrack, and intense gun combat for which the game is known now burst to life and play out in incredibly high resolution. All the action is set to a magnificent music score composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Kohei Tanaka.

Launching with the new Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition website and 4K trailer, PS4 pre-sales begin today on the PlayStation store, as does the wish-list registration for the PC version on Steam. The game slated for release this October.

September 26th marks the date of the outbreak in The Last of Us, when the world was utterly destroyed by the horror of the mushroom zombies. While it was a terrible and devastating event in the game, in the real world, it’s cause for celebration! Since 2013, Naughty Dog has celebrated Outbreak Day with all kinds of deals and promotional content. Naughty Dog has revealed some of the goodies in store for the fans on September 26, 2018.

On the Outbreak Day website, there are eight blocks of content, four of which are still a secret. The other four, however, shown are plain as day and will be up for grabs on September 26, 2018.

428: Shibuya Scramble abducts players in Tokyo's Shibuya district, letting them experience events from the perspective of multiple people, all of them parallel and indirectly interdependent. The fates of the characters are connected in a mysterious plot, which can only be solved by hints in the game text and in the live-action video sequences. The decisions of the players in the various scenes lead to one of many different resolutions of the story.
