PLAY Expo Blackpool - Retro Gaming Event Returns Early

Organisers of one of the Blackpool entertainment calendar’s favourite ‘fixtures’ are playing along with popular demand, by staging a second event during 2018 just 8 months after the first.

PLAY Expo Blackpool the UK’s longest-running retro-gaming event – will return to the Norcalympia Exhibition Centre for the second time this year, when it thrills during the half term break (October 27 and 28) as a celebration of all-things gaming that is even bigger and better than before.

The Pre-order Beta 2 will start on August 30 until the release of the game. New World Interactive will continue focusing on final polish, bug fixing, server stability, and optimization leading up to the September 18 release. The studio, known for supporting Insurgency with three years of post-release content updates, also has extensive post-launch support plans for Insurgency: Sandstorm with new content and features coming after the release of the game.

Early adopters can get the game on Steam now for a 10% discount until September 26, reducing the price to €26.99 £23.39 $26.99. An additional 10% loyalty discount will be given to fans that own the original Insurgency, bringing the price down to just $24.99. This additional discount will be offered until the end of 2018.

Hero of the Kingdom III PC release - Free demo download

Hero of the Kingdom III challenges you to travel through the four valleys to save the kingdom from an ancient evil that has shattered the entire region. Although you were raised as a simple hunter by your uncle Brent, your skills, stamina and talent are put to the test as dark forces have ascended across the land and must be fought to restore balance and peace to the world. You, alone, are faced to conquer this evil and you must set out on a long journey across four valleys to battle foes and unexpected enemies. Your courage and your skills will forge a new Hero of the Kingdom should you succeed.

Hero of the Kingdom III is the eighth game developed by Lonely Troops. Development started in August 2015 with a simple goal to improve the series in many aspects: a brand new and unique story, enhanced gameplay with more role-playing elements, more detailed graphics and animations.

The public demo version was presented in December 2017. Later, a special cut-scenes were added in order to enhance storytelling. The game was finished in July 2018 and released the next month, after thorough testing phase. The game clearly presents a new quality level in comparison with the two previous Hero of the Kingdom games.

War Thunder to introduce Combat Helicopters - PC Mac Linux PS4 XO

Combat helicopters will join the vehicular combat MMO War Thunder with update 1.81 (The Valkyries). Players will be able to fly an increasing number of helicopters from the Korean War and Cold War periods. The first batch to be introduced are choppers from the United States and Soviet Union, with other nations coming online later.

In War Thunder, combat helicopters will be available in separate research trees. Players can access them as soon as they’ve reached their first rank V aircraft or tank of a corresponding nation. The Valkyries will include several helicopters of Rank V and VI for the United States and Soviet Union, with players able to choose from a wide array of authentic designs and weapon presets, including fixed and rotating cannons and machine guns, grenade launchers, cannon and launcher pods, different calibers of unguided rockets, bombs, as well as Anti-Tank Guided Missiles.

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw Game Announced - PC PS4 XO Switch

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, a blue-collar space combat adventure packed with outlaws, explosions, gleefully unrealistic spaceflight, and a hell of a soundtrack. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is a sort-of-prequel to 2015’s Rebel Galaxy, this time dropping you right into the cockpit and doubling down on the roadhouse vibe of the previous game.

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw features high-octane space combat, over 20 hours of subspace radio, side activities like billiards and dice poker, plenty of sketchy characters to meet, and sketchier jobs to take on. Nobody’s saving the universe around here - they’d settle for saving a couple of credits. It’s aiming to launch early 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 - new and glorious Faction Trailer - PC

Originally planned for a release in September, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 will finally land on PC in January 2019. These couple of additional months of development will allow developers Tindalos to polish the game and bring all their ambitions to life after the great success met by the first game. The team at Tindalos will also take opportunity of this extra development time to add extra content for the game's release!

The game already offers a huge content with 3 great narrative campaigns, 12 playable factions and refined gameplay. This extra development time will allow Tindalos to add a new exciting feature: all three narrative campaigns will thus be playable in coop multiplayer! In order to involve players during this extra development phase, we’ll organize not one but two pre-order betas. More details about the dates and content of these pre-order betas will be communicated shortly.

LEGO DC Super Villains Season Pass DLC Aquaman & Shazam Favourite Characters and Locations from Across the DC Universe

Warner Bros reveal the LEGO DC Super-Villains Season Pass which will provide players with exciting add-on game content inspired by a wide range of DC movies, live action and animated TV series, and comics.

The Season Pass will feature six Level Packs and four Character Packs, including two Aquaman Movie Level Packs inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film, Aquaman, in theaters nationwide on 2nd December and two Shazam! Movie Level Packs inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film Shazam! in theaters nationwide April 2019.
