Xenos vs Marines tells the story of a futuristic advanced humanity that is fiercely determined to stake its territorial claim on the universe.

With an emphasis on realism, the game will allow players to experience the unique challenges of the Colonial Forces, led by the brave Space Marines, sent out to seize new areas of influence for mankind first-hand. Equipped with ultra-advanced weaponry, powered armour and other tools of conquest, players will not only fight against diverse breeds of aliens, but also must survive the environmental hazards and anomalies found on the new worlds.

Brenda Romero game designer and artist will get Special Award on Thursday 6 April at the BAFTA British Academy Games Awards

BAFTA has announced today that award-winning game designer and artist Brenda Romero will be presented with the Special Award at the British Academy Games Awards on Thursday 6 April 2017, in recognition of her creative contribution to the industry.

BAFTA’s Special Award recognises an individual for their creative contribution to the industry, and will be presented to Brenda for her illustrious career in game design, her advocacy for the art and creative process behind game-making, and her commitment to encouraging the next generation of talent in the industry.

Final Great Fire of London 1666 Minecraft map released to download - Great Fire 1666: The Rebuild

The Museum of London has launched the final in a series of three Minecraft maps recreating the Great Fire of London, following the first and second maps which launched in July and September 2016.

Titled Great Fire 1666: The Rebuild, the third map will challenge players to help London rise from the ashes following its destruction in the second map and design their own version of the capital. They will be able to explore the ruined streets, before meeting King Charles II at the Guildhall to hear his decrees for a new vision of London.
