PlayStation Network is suffering a major outage – its second in a week

PS4 players are unable to sign-in or use network features so no online multiplayer all due to another server issue.

PlayStation Server Status has confirmed the break. It started around 10:10am GMT.

This PlayStation Network outage stops players signing-in or creating a new accounts.

This outage affects PlayStation Now, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Music.

Sony have Tweeted to acknowledge the issue.

the problem is hitting the UK, Europe and some areas of the United States.

This is the second major outage in a week.

Red Solstice Free Weekend on Steam plus New outpost defense mode

The Red Solstice is FREE to play for everyone for the next few days, as Ironward and Nkidu launch a Free Weekend on Steam. This tense top-down survival adventure for up to 8 players was originally based on the Night of the Dead map for Starcraft, though obviously taken much further.

To coincide with the Free Weekend, there's a brand new game mode, Outpost Defense.

Eternal Dawn - Major update for Gigantic released - PC XO

Eternal Dawn, the second major update for Gigantic, will release starting on February 23 on Xbox One and Windows 10. The demanding free-to-play high-action MOBA is currently in Open Beta Test as part of the Xbox Game Preview program and will be available on Arc (PC Windows) at a later date following successful testing.

Escape from Tarkov expanded checkpoint map - PC

Escape from Tarkov, the hardcore FPS/MMO hybrid, have recently announced some new changes to the game - the core change being to the "Customs" map, which now offers several new tactical opportunities to players.

The Customs location now features a new way to cross the river along with an expanded (and ever-deadly) factory. Add to that additional hidden and visible passageways, loot spawn points and player spawn points - and the Customs location Raid becomes even more challenging than before!
