Grand Ages: Medieval Mac release set for 20th April

Aspiring emperors – ready yourselves for epic battles, cunning diplomacy and relentless conquest.

Kalypso Media today announces that grand strategy fans will soon be able lead their people to greatness on their Mac as Grand Ages: Medieval will be available to purchase via Steam on 20th April. Following the hugely successful launches on Windows PC and the PlayStation 4 system, Grand Ages: Medieval will test Mac players’ strategic minds as they advance through the High Middle Ages by utilising construction, research, expansion and conquest in an area extending from Scandinavia and North Africa; to Portugal, the Caucasus and the Middle East.

Blizzcon 2016 returns to the Anaheim Convention Center Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5. Tickets for the two-day event will be going on sale in two batches.

The first batch goes live at 7pm Pacific on Wednesday, April 20. The other at 10am Pacific on Saturday, April 23.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced the nominations for the British Academy Games Awards in 2016. A total of 44 games have been recognised across 17 categories, showcasing the very best games of the past 12 months and highlighting an outstanding level of creative excellence from a broad range of UK and international development teams.

Big Changes to Destiny's gameplay balance

The third and final live stream exploring the April 12 update completed earlier this afternoon, and the hour-plus presentation provided some interesting insight into several facets of the Destiny experience that are in for changes.

Two weeks ago, we learned about new activities coming to the game, and last week brought details about specific gear and progression systems. This week’s stream explored changes on the way to the Crucible, new approaches to weapon balance, and a significant overhaul of the warlock’s three subclasses.

Crossout Closed Beta Access

Players entering into the Closed Beta will be fighting on the outskirts of desolated cities, abandoned factories, in the desert and on a brand new map - Founders Canyon.

The map is littered with rocks and the remains of giant statues scattered throughout the canyon which create an obstacle filled battlefield. Players are encouraged to use the environment to their advantage and try different tactics to defeat opponent drivers. Fast cars can maneuver among the rocks and break into the enemy base jumping from the top of a high rock outcropping, while slow vehicles can defend bases.
