Konami announce it is to release Castlevania: Harmony of Despair for PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network this September. Also added into this version for free is the ‘Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire’ Map pack, which includes the Pyramid of Ruin level as well as additional characters Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades.

Silent Hill: Downpour video game comes to GamesCom - PS3 X360
KONAMI will use the European showcase to give players a chance to go hands-on with the forthcoming Silent Hill Downpour, and will also outline key additions to its forthcoming Silent Hill HD Collection and Silent Hill Book of Memories, the latter being on Sony’s new PlayStation Vita handheld gaming platform.
SONY drop price of PlayStation 3
Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) today announced that the PlayStation 3 (PS3) computer entertainment system with 160GB hard disk drive (HDD), currently available at a recommended retail price (RRP) of £249 will be available at a very attractive new RRP of £199 in the UK. SCE will also reduce the price of the PS3 system with 320GB HDD, currently available at a RRP of £299 to RRP of £249 in the UK. The new pricing will be immediately effective for North America and Europe/PAL territories, and starting August 18, 2011 for Japan.
