EA to release MMO racer video game 'Need For Speed World' on July 27th

Black Box, an Electronic Arts studio, announced that Need for Speed World, the massively multi-player online action racing game, is available for digital download on July 27 for the PC. Need for Speed World combines the rush of illicit street racing, deep RPG style progression and vehicle customization into an immersive, socially-connected Need for Speed experience. Players can compete against any one of their friends, family or pick from thousands of top ranked players to challenge in intense online battles and police pursuits across 150 miles of sprawling open world.

'Top Gun' PlayStation Network video game previewed aboard US Navy Ship, the USS Iwo Jima.

Paramount Digital Entertainment joined with the US Navy to premier the new PlayStation Network Game, Top Gun, at the 23rd annual New York Fleet Week. Whilst the parade of ships was docked in the New York Harbour, Navy personnel and visiting civilians were treated to a first look at the new Top Gun video game aboard the US navy vessel, the USS Iwo Jima.

Registration for the "Torrente Online 2" video game beta is now open

Tetris Party Deluxe launches for both Nintendo DS and Wii

More than 25 years after the launch of the first-ever Tetris game, Tetris Party Deluxe will be launched on 3rd September across Europe for both Nintendo DS and Wii. This new version of Tetris Party will thrill both old-time Tetris fans and newcomers to the genre, as more than 20 modes, online battles and multi-player action have been squeezed into this fun-packed game.

New Xbox 360 console sells more than PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii combined

Nearly 200,000 Xbox 360s have been sold from 11th to 17th of July compared that to 116,000 for the Nintendo DS, 64,000 for the Nintendo Wii, 57,000 for the PlayStation 3 and 34,000 for the PSP console.

Vindictus video game demo Playable at Comic-Con

First playable demonstrations of Vindictus, the first physics-based action multi-player online action role-playing game. Nexon America will be at the Gaming University booth, #4445, with demo stations set up for the first hands-on of Vindictus offered to the public.
