Frogster America will be attending the E3 trade show in Los Angeles, June 2-4, 2009, and showing new content from Runes of Magic, the Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) that is redefining the standard for free-to-play titles.

It was recently announced that the game reached over a million registered users in Europe and the United States, growing at a rate of around 150,000 players per
month.

Nexon America unveiled details on the new cooperative game mode, Fireteam, set to launch on Wednesday, May 27 for its popular multiplayer online first-person shooter, Combat Arms. The new, eight-player cooperative mode teams players up with one another to defeat the Sand Hog, an enemy terrorist army.

Fireteam offers four-, six- or eight-player game options to pit players against hordes of computer-controlled enemies while experiencing an intense, multi-staged military mission. With three different difficulty settings (Normal, Hard and Extreme), players can earn extra life, or respawns, by reaching defined checkpoints. Fallen enemies drop ammo boxes and medical kits so players can replenish ammo and health in the field. Fireteam mode features a specially-designed map, tuned specifically for Fireteam Mode. And since each game is individually scored based on performance, players can try to earn the highest score.

The Sand Hog is a terrorist military organization suspected of illegally supplying weapons to nearby countries. An infiltration team sent in earlier had signaled it had obtained some vital Intel but failed to make it to the extraction point and are now believed to be captured or killed. The mission, Operation Desert Thunder, asks players to infiltrate the area and gather the necessary Intel, and if possible, find and rescue the infiltration team.

Natsume's first title for PLAYSTATION 3, AFRIKA takes players on a photographic safari of Africa and its exotic animals. The game will be available at retail early fall 2009.

"We are very excited to be releasing AFRIKA in North America, and thrilled to be working with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios," said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume.

"The team has put an incredible amount of work into replicating the African safari experience, and the results are simply breathtaking."

In "AFRIKA", players step into the role of a freelance photographer exploring a brand new conservation area. They'll document the wildlife and photograph incredible sights such as a titanic clash between hippopotamuses, a pride of lions watching over its playful cubs, and a cheetah's lightning-fast chase as it runs down its prey! All of the game's animals and environments are rendered in photorealistic detail with animals that move, behave, and interact with each other just like their real-world counterparts.

The photography in the game is as meticulously modeled as the animals themselves; players will need to learn from the game's innovative photo-grading system and compose their photographs with the eye of a professional photographer if they want to earn top dollar. The money they earn can be used to purchase new licensed lenses, cameras, and safari equipment. If players are good enough, they just might find their photograph on the cover of National Geographic.

Produced in cooperation with National Geographic, "AFRIKA" features a wealth of information about each of its animals, including footage and photographs from the magazine!

Battleforge video game - now free release two new maps Plus Frost video

Two new maps for BattleForge, the new epic RTS. These two maps represent the beginning of the Renegade Campaign, the game’s first free content pack for fans. The new live campaign will have players traveling south, deep into the Wastelands where they will follow the adventures of the white Juggernaut Mo – a monster with a dry wit and a heart as big as his appetite.
