Land of Magic Closed Beta Extended!

Land of Magic server will stay up and running until March 8, 2009.

Lizard Interactive announced today that Closed Beta Test of Land of Magic will be extended until March 8. Land of Magic closed beta started last February 26 and it was scheduled to end March 5. CBT went smoothly without any major bugs or problems. Lizard has decided to keep the servers running for 3 extra days to let testers continue to enjoy higher level contents before the Open Beta.

However, Closed Beta events will not be extended and it will be concluded as scheduled. Winners of Bug Report and Fast Level Up events will be selected among participated players from February 26 to March 5. Announcement of event winners will be posted on Land of Magic official site on March 13, 2009.

Land of Magic is a classic 2D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) with unique story of ancient battle which took place between God and Dragon. It offers unique features such as Immortality / Rebirth, Unique Growth and Magical Weapons, Exchangeable Race and Gender, Fast Level Up Speed, and Level blessed Items that reduces the required level of items according to the player.

As the design of the Cursed Palace counts down to completion, Wonderland Online players can get ready to enter the palace of mystery and danger.

The land is composed of 12 palaces, each of which is protected by one powerful fighter and 4 assisting guards. The Cursed Palace was inspired by constellations, so palaces are named after 12 zodiacs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces).

The first 3 palaces would be easily conquered, but as you step for the next level, the danger is growing. At first sight, those guardians might appear to be unbeatable. However, once their weakness is discovered, the task will be much easier.

If you are super intelligent and absolutely fearless, you might have some luck to pass 12 palaces with rich awards. After that you will face the ultimate challenge in your lifetime. In the final round, Athena will lead her four strongest knights to fight tooth and nail to defend her last territory. Survival Game Mode with a friends ranking system in its upcoming release of Zeno Clash

ACE Team, an independent video game developer based in Santiago, Chile, today announced that it will include a new Survival Game Mode with a friends ranking system in its upcoming release of Zeno Clash. Zeno Clash is a PC-based action/fighting game set in a punk fantasy world. ACE Team will distribute Zeno Clash via Steam and Direct2Drive this Spring for a value price of $20.00 USD. The developer is also currently working to secure a retail publisher. Zeno Clash's new Survival Game Mode features Unlockable Tower Challenges, a new Ranking System and Ascending Tower Levels. The Survival Mode offers players the enjoyment of the gameplay of Zeno Clash without having to replay through the single player campaign. In survival mode, players will unlock several 'Tower Challenges' as they progress through the game. Perhaps the most exciting feature of Survival Mode is that it will also include a ranking system that will compare the player's performance against their friends. Xbox Live membership price drop - it's cheaper, but not for long

Xbox Live Gold membership subscription rates on Xbox.com have dropped for a limited time, say Microsoft.

"We are currently running a promotion in-dash that gives Silver members a special opportunity to upgrade to the full benefits of Gold membership at a reduced price for a limited time," said Microsoft. "While there are occasional price promotions offered for our service, we're confident our 12-month Gold members realize the tremendous entertainment value provided for just over $4 per month."

PlayStation 2 enters it's tenth year today - Happy Birthday

Sony's PlayStation 2 launched in Japan nine years ago today, ultimately going on to sell over 140 million consoles and, now, entering its tenth year on the market.

Japan's launch of the PlayStation 2 brought with it a half-dozen generation changing games, even if most were largely forgettable. The launch line up on March 4, 2000 consisted of Street Fighter EX3, Kessen, Ridge Racer V, Eternal Ring, DrumMania and Stepping Selection.

Call of Duty - World at War PC patch 1.3 download fixes sound

The 1.3 patch resolves the Vista sound issues that accompanied the last update and enables players to record and view multiplayer matches, among other changes. Oh, and it's an incremental patch, so you'll need to have installed the 1.2 update to apply 1.3.

Resident Evil 5 - The mercenaries first impressions of an unlockable mode with videos...

What happens when you beat Resident Evil 5? While I can't tell you everything you unlock, I can reveal that a new mode becomes available. Mercenaries mode, popular among RE4 players, is back. Mercenaries is a timed survival mode where you not only need to worry about staying alive, but must lay waste to infected villagers as quickly as possible to rack up a high score.

There are ten playable characters for Mercenaries Mode, though only BSAA Sheva and Chris are available at the start. Now, when I say ten characters, what I really mean is ten different skins. You will, in fact, unlock different versions of Chris and Sheva along with a few other surprise characters. Each character skin comes with its own weapon set, which can't be changed. BSAA Chris rocks a powered-up shotty and handgun, while Sheva has a sniper rifle and submachine gun. Part of Mercenaries mode is figuring out strategies for earning S rankings with a specific set of items.

Fresbo World is a flash-based virtual world for all ages that allows users to assemble up the basic building blocks to create different types of structures.
