Capcom confirm Dead Rising 2 video game on PS3 Xbox 360 and PC

Capcom confirmed that Dead Rising 2 is in development for three different gaming platforms: the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Sony Computer Entertainment’s PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3) and the PC.

Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. Unfortunately, the zombie virus was not contained at the conclusion of Dead Rising, spreading unchecked throughout the United States and Dead Rising 2 depicts a country where zombie outbreaks continue to strike.

Dead Rising 2 is being developed in partnership with up and coming Canadian developer Blue Castle Games. A number of members from the original Dead Rising team will be working alongside Blue Castle Games throughout the development process, including Capcom’s global head of research and development, Keiji Inafune, who as the game’s Producer will play an active role in the project.

Released in 2006, Dead Rising won praise across the globe for its mix of intense zombie action and dark humour, garnering numerous awards including IGN’s “Most Innovative Design for Xbox 360”, Gamespot’s “Best Action-Adventure Game” for 2006 and “Action Game of the Year” at the 2006 Spike TV Video Game Awards.

LIT - Nintendo Wii horror puzzle game

Dark creatures have taken over Jake's high school, and it's up to you to guide him through each classroom in order to be reunited with his girlfriend Rachael.

Existing light sources must be used smartly to create bridges of light for Jake to cross. One false step and Jake gets pulled into the darkness. Along the way he'll encounter twisted versions of his school's faculty, which must be battled in order to advance. LIT is a horror/puzzle game that requires the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers.

It contains 30 levels, five boss battles, replay modes and several unlockables, including multiple endings, Dark Mode timed challenges and an unlockable character.

Atari bring N+ video game to Nintendo Ds and PlayStation Portable (PSP)

Online Flash Gaming Sensation "N" Updated for PSP and Nintendo DS, Coming to Europe in Spring 2009

Amelie's Cafe PC video fast-paced time management game

Alawar Entertainment, a leading casual games publisher , today released Amelie's Cafe, a fast-paced time management game featuring financial strategy, point-and-click action and match-three puzzle solving. The Boolat Games title is available at Alawar's website and will soon be appearing on popular download portals in the U.S.

In the game, Amelie faces a tough, yet exciting, challenge: run her grandfather's cafe while he's away on vacation. Throughout her adventure, she'll work her way up from a waitress to an experienced business owner while gradually renovating the restaurant, hiring skilled chefs and expanding the menu.

The goal of each level is to earn a certain amount of money. Novices only need to reach a token sum, while experienced players can achieve Expert status by racking up record revenues. Winning will require both a quick hand on the mouse and acute concentration, as collecting and delivering orders won't be enough to succeed. Amelie will have to keep her kitchen in order, her ovens clean and her guests quickly moving out the door, food in hand.

Patapon 2 PSP video game sequel out on spring

Aeria Games' global version of Last Chaos has released two new exciting dungeons. The dungeons titled Quanian and Golem are the first wave of new content to hit Last Chaos in preparation for one of the biggest content expansion the game has seen to date.
