Fantastic Contraption video game on iPhone and iPod Touch

The game that allowed web users to create over five million amazing puzzles is now going mobile! inXile entertainment today announced the release of Fantastic Contraption for the iPhone and iPod Touch. 

Available now on iTunes with the 21 original levels as well as the “All Star Pack” of 20 additional levels for the introductory price of $2.99.

Fantastic Contraption is a physics puzzle game that challenges players to build a machine to solve a puzzle. The brainchild of independent developer Colin Northway, and named Game of The Week recently by www.CasualGaming.biz, Fantastic Contraption (www.fantasticcontraption.com) was first released in July of 2008, and to date over 11 million people from almost every country in the world have visited the site, creating thousands of YouTube videos.

In Fantastic Contraption, players build a machine from simple parts in order to move objects to a goal. Every level in Fantastic Contraption challenges players to solve puzzles anyway possible. Using basic tools consisting of nothing more than wheels and rods, players can create tanks, conveyor belts, catapults, slingshots, ramps, pulleys and whatever else the imagination can come up with in order to beat each stage. Rumble Fighter Celebrates New Year, New President

Campaign Mode
In the campaign mode, the player experiences the background story of Devils and Demons. His travel leads him through various dangerous districts and to hell itself. In each area he may choose a level after the first one has been completed. If all levels within an area have been solved, the boss of that area gets unlocked and may be confronted to open the way to the next area.

Arena Mode
In the arena mode, the heroes fight against approaching devils and demons and have to survive for a certain time. Victories and survived time add points to the highscore which might unlock new arenas that can be chosen.

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, four-player action fighting video game announced

Ubisoft announced that it will launch an all-new, original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) video game – the first that is not tied to a TMNT movie, television show or comic book – which will be a four-player action fighting title. The game is being developed by Game Arts, noted for working on the critically acclaimed Super Smash Bros.

Brawl for Nintendo Wii. Scheduled for release in autumn 2009, the video game will be a key event in the year-long “Shell-ebration” of the 25th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which, in addition to the video game launch, will include new and exciting products and experiences for TMNT fans in the U.S. and around the world.

Zu Online - New Area Occupation

What is the most eye-catching aspect in Zu Online (http://zu.igg.com/)? It must be the fights between talented, veteran players. In the upcoming Zu Online version, a brand-new place to fight will be the “Area Occupation” that's been added. We hope this will bring even more intense fights for players to enjoy.

During the “Area Occupation”, any guild member can manipulate the Lead Pillars which have not yet been occupied, and then occupy the area where the Lead Pillar stands. Occupation of this area will earn the guild some funds as an everyday reward, until another guild comes and takes it.

Any guild members can manipulate the Lead Pillar owned by another guild in the same faction. When a guild’s Lead Pillar is captured, all the online members of the guild will receive a system prompt announcing the loss. Then, they can rush to the area and try to prevent the attackers from fully occupying their area. If the attackers finally occupy the area, then they will start to earn the guild funds as an everyday reward, until another guild occupies it.

Guild members can also manipulate the Lead Pillar occupied by a guild in a different faction. When a guild’s Lead Pillar is captured, all the online members of the guild will receive a system prompt announcing the loss. Then, they can rush to the area and try to prevent the attackers from fully occupying their area. If the attackers finally manage to occupy the area, then all the players in the same faction as the attackers and standing near the Lead Pillar will get handsome rewards. Other online players in the same guild as the attackers will get some rewards too. Additionally, the guild will gain some guild funds as a daily reward from the next day on until the area is occupied by another guild.

Sample Area Occuptation
If guild A from faction Xun captures the Lead Pillar owned by guild B from faction Tai, then all the online members of guild B will receive a system prompt about it. If guild A finally occupies the Lead Pillar, then all Xun players who are near the Lead Pillar will get big rewards while other members of guild A will also get some rewards too. Additionally, guild A will gain some guild funds as a daily reward starting the next day on until the area is occupied by another guild. But if guild B successfully defends the Lead Pillar, they will continue to occupy the area and receive the guild funds.
