Red Steel 2 video game on Nintendo Wii sequel artwork leaked

Red Steel 2 is the presumed sequel for the famous FPS that was released for the Wii in 2006, a project that was in development at Ubisoft Montreuil (this studio was also responsible for Red Steel 1) in 2007.

It seems that these screens and documents were taken from an early concept of the project, some of which are from a set of “fantasy themed” levels (probably for bonus missions or multiplayer modes).

Development of this Red Steel 2 prototype was stopped in October 2007 when Ubisoft raised concerns about the game’s quality. Since then, Ubisoft Paris started from scratch and a “new” Red Steel 2 is planned for a release in 2009. Ubisoft Montreuil went on with making Rayman Raving Rabbits 2 and TV Party.

Rise Against - Death Blossom- exclusive song for Guitar Hero

Previously Unreleased Single 'Death Blossoms' and Two of the Bandís Smash Hits To Be Released As Downloadable Content on March 12th * Rise Against to Rock with Guitar Hero - Fans as Part of Latest Xbox LIVE Game with Fame Session on March 14th

On March 12th, Rise Against will join the growing roster of artists to debut exclusively created music to Guitar Hero fans with the debut of “Death Blossoms” as downloadable content for Activision Guitar Hero World Tour.

The Guitar Hero alums, with “Prayer of the Refuge” and “Re-Education (Through Labor)” appearing in previous versions of Guitar Hero, complete the Rise Against Track Pack with “Audience of One,” the hit single off the band’s new album Appeal to Reason and “Ready to Fall,” from their 2006 album The Sufferer & The Witness.

Commemorating the release of the highly anticipated Rise Against Track Pack, virtual rockstars will have the unique opportunity to join Tim McIlrath on the digital stage for performances of Rise Against smash hits. For a chance to rock with the Chicago native in the Game with Fame on March 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM GMT in Guitar Hero World Tour on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, send a friend request to the gamertag GHRiseAgainst1.

“Guitar Hero continues to be a platform for artists to deliver new music while gaining invaluable exposure,” says Tim Riley, Vice President of Music Affairs for Activision Blizzard. “We are thrilled that Rise Against was willing to compose and record ‘Death Blossoms’ exclusively for our audience offering fans an opportunity to download music heard nowhere else.”

Rise Against is vocalist Tim McIlrath, bassist Joe Principe, drummer Brandon Barnes and guitarist Zach Blair. In spring 2001, the band released their debut CD “The Unraveling” on Fat Wreck Chords. After two years of solid touring, Rise Against recorded “Revolutions Per Minute” (2002), followed by “Siren Song Of The Counter-Culture” (2004). “The Sufferer & the Witness” was released in 2006 and debuted at no 10 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Rise Against released their fifth studio album, Appeal To Reason, on DGC/Interscope Records last fall and it debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart as well as spending one week at No 1 on the iTunes album chart. First single, “Re-Education (Through Labor),” was a top 2 hit at modern rock radio and new single “Audience Of One” is poised to top the charts as well. Rise Against will embark on a summer headlining tour with special guest Rancid.

The Rise Against Track Pack will be available March 12th on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 for 440 Microsoft Points and on the PlayStation Store for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system for 5.49 euros / £3.99. “Death Blossoms,” “Audience of One” and “Ready to Fall” will be released individually as downloadable singles for Xbox 360 for 160 Microsoft Points, PLAYSTATION 3 system for 1.99 euros / £1.59 and Wii for 200 Wii Points each.

Midway and Ubisoft announce that an official Wheelman demo will be available worldwide for download exclusively on the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network beginning March 5, 2009 at 6 a.m. PST. The Wheelman demo will be available for download on the PlayStation Network on March 12.

Combining spectacular Hollywood-style stunts with a gripping storyline, Wheelman provides an adrenaline-fueled, cinematic thrill ride. Vin Diesel stars as an undercover agent and highly skilled driver who must infiltrate the Barcelona underworld to gather intelligence surrounding a covert heist. Posing as a driver-for-hire, he ends up caught in a crossfire of corruption and chaos while trying to stay one step ahead of local law enforcement and rival gangs.



The Wheelman demo features a custom-made mission introducing the player to the special moves that only a master Wheelman can pull off. Spin into a Cyclone while precision shooting at enemies or leap from vehicle to vehicle at breathtaking speeds to AirJack your enemys car. Once the player has completed the custom-made mission they will unlock two side missions: 'Made to Order' and 'Street Showdown.' Each of these side missions will be playable three times before the demo finishes. While the finished game will allow you to freely roam a virtual version of Barcelona the cultural capital of Europe in an open-world environment, this demo has been created to highlight only a small section of the actual game world.

Wheelman is scheduled for a March 24, 2009, ship date in North America and a March 27, 2009, street date in Europe for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and Windows-based PC.
