Galaxy on Fire 2 - Mobile Cellphone video game

FISHLABS presents the second part of the spectacular 3D space shooter for mobile phones

Fans of outer space shooters can prepare themselves for tough battles: FISHLABS, leading developer of premium 3D mobile phone games, presents the second part of their multi-award-winning space shooter Galaxy on Fire™. The new mobile game, which will be released in the late autumn of this year, ties in to its highly praised predecessor and once again sets new standards in the field of 3D mobile games.

In this thrilling outer space episode, the mercenary Keith Maxwell, the hero of the first part, is catapulted through time and space by a malfunction in his spaceship’s hyperdrive. He wakes up 35 years later and finds himself in a changed galaxy, where the balance of power is gravely threatened: an unknown race has invaded the known space of the galaxy using wormhole technology and threatens the existing balance of power.

The successor to the award-winning Galaxy on Fire impresses with sensational 3D graphics, outstanding gameplay, and a thrilling story. The gigantic galaxy, with over 20 solar systems, Includes 100 unique space stations, completely rendered in 3D, with an extensive trading system, mission boards, and upgrade possibilities for ships and equipment.

The stirring story, with over 10 hours of dramatic space adventures guaranteed, skilfully combines mission-based and free gameplay. Players can choose from among more than 30 individual spaceships and equip them with countless weapons and equipment for the battle against the enemy. Mini-games offer the opportunity to land on asteroids and mine ore, in order to manufacture special equipment and trade goods later. Using new special weapons, squadron gameplay, and the ability to take control of firing turrets, players combat against dozens of opponents from different races and fractions in most diverse battle situations.

‘The first part of Galaxy on Fire, which appeared a good three years ago, was our first really big 3D title. The game was revolutionary in its graphics and game depth and earned nothing but top scores in countless tests. Naturally, the expectations for the second part in our fan community are just as high,’ says Michael Schade, CEO of FISHLABS Entertainment GmbH. ‘There is good reason we took our time with the sequel, and we are sure that Galaxy on Fire 2, with its improved graphics and completely new gameplay elements, will even surpass the success of its predecessor.’

The Shroud - Mobile GPS RPG video game

Your World Games today announced the release of their groundbreaking RPG mobile game The Shroud for all Helio network users.

Exclusive to the Helio release of The Shroud is the GPS Challenge, available for all GPS-enabled Helio devices, which will allow players to physically locate Breaches in real-life locations. Using patented GPS technology, players will be alerted to these breaches on screen and, using an on-screen compass, must physically move themselves to these locations. Successfully reaching a Breach point will activate a special timed challenge, which, if successful, will yield gold and rare in-game items. Early challenges will result in shorter distances between breaches (under several hundred feet), while more difficult breaches may require the player to travel longer distances (up to a few miles).

“The Shroud is one of the few truly deep, immersive gameplay experiences available on a mobile device that both casual and hardcore gamers can enjoy,” said Robert Sprogis, Vice President of Your World Games. “We are proud to announce its release on the Helio network, which will not only allow millions of users experience the oncoming invasion of unspeakable terrors from the Shroud firsthand, but also to partake in special GPS challenges that will test both mind and body in a truly unprecedented combination of compelling strategy-RPG and GPS location games.”
“The Shroud really stands out in mobile gaming for its depth and quality of gameplay,” said Leo Jun, Head of Games and Apps at Helio. “The game is a great addition to our growing portfolio of games.”

The Shroud features the protagonist, Taro, who starts off as a simple farmer but becomes a venerable savior as he fights to protect his homeland from the Shroud and its ancient, evil inhabitants. Players begin on an untended farm that they must work on to grow and harvest crops, turning barren, untilled farmland into verdant, fertile topsoil, as well as maintaining livestock. Doing so will allow Taro to accumulate funds and resources which he will need in order to repel the Shroud invasion and close the Breach portals that connect their world to his own. In addition, the game features several other elements such as fishing, mining, real-time monster combat, and the International Farmers’ League (IFL) in order to provide a lengthy variety of activities and competitions for the player to immerse themselves into.

Developed by Your World Games and with production by game developer Hardcore 3D Wireless, The Shroud will be available for all compatible Helio devices. For further details and to learn more about The Shroud visit www.shroudgame.com.

Mr. Buckethead - mobile cellphone game

Where do all the Tetris clones get their stones from?

Yes? The game “Mr. Buckethead” will give the answer!
They are all manufactured in the last licensed Tetris Stone Factory. The problem is: it is a ramshackle factory, the production line does not work anymore and the color pipelines are leaky. Even worse, the new boss has kicked out all employees and only one is left:

Mr. Buckethead

He has to do all the work: catch and mix the right colors dripping out of the pipelines, collect the raw stones which are spread all over the factory and bring them to the coloring machine. And all this in a hurry, because there are so many Tetris clones out there!

The player must help Mr. Buckethead to make his boss happy…not an easy task at all.

More about the game can be found at www.baby-soft.de/Buckethead.html
