Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's PS3 problems explained by Bethesda

It's well known that the PlayStation 3 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim suffered from some bugs, some players stopped playing due to lag. Now Todd Howard, Bethesda chief game designer explains why the bugs happen, and how Bethesda understood they had been ironed out before release.

ZeniMax announced that the PC Creation Kit, a free tool that allows PC players to create their own custom content for Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has been enthusiastically received by PC gamers who have been uploading, downloading, and installing custom content through the Skyrim Workshop on Steam.

The Skyrim 1.4 patch, known as v2.03 update on PlayStation 3, went live this week it seems the PS3 lag issue has been fixed but there are plenty of players reporting quest problems.

Patch 1.4 could still go live today (fingers crossed) the game is now three months old and the lag persists.
