Why you SHOULDN'T patch Skyrim yet on your PS3 - Dragons fly backwards now! - video

Many gamers are reporting that patch 1.2 that was released to fix lag and other issue has made some users gaming experience worse!

Released on PS3 on Monday the 1.2 patch update has caused dragons to fly backwards! (see video) add to this that the game save size issue causing lag hasn't gone.

Floods of complains are being posted on the Bethesda forum so before you say yes to the update you may want to wait.

Unfortunately PSN and Xbox Live user have to update to play.

The 1.2 update for ‘Skyrim’ causes a devastating error that removes all resistances in the game, creating huge problems for certain character abilities or builds – rendering some entirely useless.

Users have also experienced frame drop in some instances, as well. Bethesda is aware of the problem and is already working on another patch.

Bethesda has spoken about its plans for future Skyrim support when it comes to updates and fixes, and says it will need to handle with a little more care than other titles.

We all know this is a huge game, and everyone has a different experience. We’ll continue to do everything we can to make the game better and better for as many people as possible every day. We’ve also realized that with the millions upon millions of people playing Skyrim, we need to treat our updates with greater care. If we get too aggressive trying to fix a minor issue, we run a risk of breaking something larger in a game like this. To be safe, we are prioritizing code side fixes right now over data fixes. Quest and balance issues are usually data, and those will start rolling in a large way with the January updates.
